3. Symptom check? Sore boobs and WANT ALL THE FOOD!
4. Rants/Raves? Got to see our little bean today, and it was the most amazing thing ever!!
5. GTKY: What is your favorite movie from your childhood? Anything with a Disney princess. It probably depended on the day!

1. How far along are you? 7 wk, 2 days. It's funny I was thinking I was 6 weeks but then I saw acorn99's answer and realized I was actually 7.
2. Any thing new? Nothing new at all
3. Symptom check? None, accept for maybe pregnancy brain? I keep forgetting I'm pregnant, I asked for a soda with dinner the other day then realized I was pregnant and had already had my daily quota of caffeine.
4. Rants/Raves? It's absolutely freezing in my office today.
5. GTKY: What is your favorite movie from your childhood? Fievel goes West, Fern Gully, The Rescuers, and The Brave Little Toaster. I feel like I need to buy all these movies for my kids now, I wonder if they're on Netflix?
I forgot about Fievel goes West! I'm going to have to find that one for the kids to watch.

1. 6 weeks 5 days 2. Ultrasound is tomorrow!!! Also my meeting with the new endocrinologist today went really well and I have a meal plan and testing schedule. Although she says all my non pregnancy bloodwork points more to pre-diabetic insulin resistent rather than type 2 and wants to take away that diagnosis wich I guess is good. 3. Still chugging along on the nausea train, adding a caboose of sore boobs. 4. So excited to see if there is one or two babies in there tomorrow. 5. GTKY: Anything Disney or musical. Lady and the Tramp, Beauty and the Beast, and Music Man are probably my top favs.

OMG! I forgot about ALL those movies! I used to watch them basically on repeat!!
2. Any thing new? Not really... eating everything in sight... but that's all
3. Symptom check? The usual... sore boobs, queasy stomach, hungry, tired, forgetfulness... found my phone in the fridge... oops
4. Rants/Raves?
MY APPOINTMENT IS TOMORROW!!!
5. GTKY: What is your favorite movie from your childhood?
My mom says I used to demand "how the grinch stole christmas" year round... I remember being crazy about the little Mermaid for a long time too... the common thread? Both had dogs named Max. Later in life... I named my car Max, coincidence? Yes probably. #random

1. About 5 weeks.
2. Nothing exciting.
3. Only real symptom is peeing constantly.
4. Not really either, but I can't decide when to tell my inlaws. Thanksgiving seems too soon since my first appointment isn't until December 9. We are trying to hold off until Christmas.
5. I loved all Disney movies, but especially The Little Mermaid and The Lion King.

We have a heartbeat! Lil muggy was measuring at 5 weeks, 6 days, with a heartbeat of 117. I am so relieved.
Awesome! Was it like a little flicker?
Yeah, it was a flicker... but very visible... and the flickering portion seemed to be like 1/3 of the embryo. My husband said it looked like a jelly bean doing the can can.

I had my ultrasound at 6w1d and we saw a little flicker starting to form but she didn't measure it. She said it was to early for a heartbeat. I go back Fri so I hope we see more then.

We were at 6w2d, but at this point, I think a little flicker is all you really need to show that things are good. I bet my doctor would have measured your flicker. It is amazing how much it seems to matter who is doing the ultrasound, and where exactly the embryo is in the uterus, especially this early. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow though!
Checking back in, HEARTBEAT STRONG! I am so relieved! The doctor said everything looks as perfect as it can be! Back for another "peace of mind" scan on 11/30, that I'm grateful he offered us. Baby is measuring with 2 days of the original estimate, so 7/6-7/8 is our EDD I'm thinking I'll call it 7/7 at this point for the middle day.

Hi Ladies - ultrasound update - Good news - there IS a baby inside me! Ok news - Baby is measuring closer to 6 weeks and the HB was pretty low, around 84. She wasn't really concerned, but wants to see me again in a couple weeks for another ultrasound. She was saying that implantation could have occurred later than O-date. Of course, I left feeling a little disappointed.

How far did you think you were? They can be off by a few days either way..it's hard to measure something so tiny. As for the low heartbeat, I understand your concern. Try not to stress too much. If I'm remembering correctly, budders on GKU had a similar scare & her little guy is healthy & cute as can be. Good luck with your next ultrasound!

Thanks! I thought I was 6 weeks, 4 days - so totally in the ballpark. RE did not seem concerned at all about the low HB, she just thought it was really early. She thinks by 8 weeks I'll be able to see it all more clearly.
