Pre-Thanksgiving Check in

How is everyone's week going? Ready for Thanksgiving?
It's been a bit of a hectic week for me. I've had a lot of work to get done before the holiday, and we did some house projects over the weekend too. We had about 8" of snow over Monday night/Tuesday morning, and some crazy strong winds yesterday. It has definitely gotten cold here!
I'm looking forward to flying home, though MIL is already stressing me out. She said a while back she wanted to do dinner on Wednesday, which is fine. But we also have plans to see my "nieces" Wednesday afternoon (not actual bio nieces, but that's basically the relationship). It looked like there wouldn't be any problems hanging with the kids in the afternoon, then dinner with the ILs. Then yesterday MIL decided she wants the family to go bowling before dinner. But she wants to start bowling around 6:30, when her league bowls. I'm hypoglycemic, so changing up meal times to something other than my usual is tricky and requires a lot of pre-planning. We tried reminding her of this and suggesting we eat first then bowl, but she's resistant. So...we'll see. I'm sure we'll have a good time with them, we always do. It's just that planning with that woman is impossible! On the plus side, everyone else we're visiting has been super flexible and willing to re-plan every time MIL throws a wrench in my schedule so...
