Officially pushing the baby swing. How ghetto. Need to go get my SAMs club membership to stock up on batteries. The lengths I will go to for the baby to nap..
Our swing was given to us used by one of DH's coworkers. We were going to buy one but free was better. Unfortunately it stops working pretty regularly so we're always pushing it. You gotta do what you gotta do!
I'm having a biopsy of some nodules in my thyroid today. Ugh. The doc isn't concerned and these nodules have been there for a while but I still have to have a big ass needle stuck in my neck.
Confession: I'm more worried about the bruise it might leave because I'm getting those boudoir pics taken tomorrow!

Sorry, not going to get caught up today or stay caught up. Actually, probably won't until Monday.
DH is home from work today because he can't use his left arm, thus he's really no help at a hardscape job :/ I'm super happy to have him here and all, but... he's kind of mopey and grumpy. I totally get why he is and I feel bad for him because I know it hurts... but dude, give me a break. I've got a slightly disabled husband, sick toddler, and totally dependent 3 month old to care for. I could use the one hand you have for a few things here and there.
DS slept in his crib until 2am! He slept from 8:45-11, and then 11:15-2. He's too big for the RNP and I need to quit letting him sleep with me. I consider it a success!
Yay!! We had good stretches of sleep from A last night. 10 until 2:45 then right back to sleep in the cradle and was still asleep when I left at 6:15. ::knocks on wood:: I hope it continues!

We invested in recharables for all her shit. Her Elephant, her projector, her swing...we are not messing around.

Plus, I'm grumpy because I stayed up way too late knitting last night (I screwed up a section of the sweater and couldn't go to sleep until I fixed it). I know that's totally my fault. I'm just saying it doesn't help the situation.

Photoshop for the win! I hope everything goes smoothly. I'll be thinking about you!
After reading this I made the same face as your avatar.
What's worse- that there is a wet Wednesday or that people actually are desperate enough to pay for this?
And I work in a really dumpy area so the men that drive through these stands are so sketchy and down right terrifying. I don't know how these girls do it. I'd be scared.
I would like to announce to all those that hate my unicorn that I think she is morphing into a horse. I think?
She goes to bed around 8:30, gets up around 2-3 for food, then again 5-6, then I wake her up at 8.
I feel like this isn't a huge deal, because she goes right back to sleep and the wake-ups last 10 minutes. Is that a horse, or still unicorn? I can't decide. The 5-6 wake-up is actually purfect, because then I run and shower and wake her ass up at 8.
I think the horse/unicorn distinction might be relative. When you're used to a unicorn, even a couple of short easy wake-ups seem awful. For our fellow lady's who are up every hour every night, they'd gladly take 1-2 quick wake-ups.
I, like you, had a unicorn who slept 10-7 every night. Now he's waking up in the MOTN crying. It usually only takes a couple of minutes to calm him back down (he's never really awake) but it's a big difference in what I'm used to.
For those of you with long-time donkeys - God bless you. I don't know how you function every day. Thinking of y'all stops me from complaining about my once or twice a night wake up.
I think this place gives me perspective. I really don't mind the wake-ups...

Fingers are crossed it's nothing serious! My mom had the same thing. I don't think it bruised...it was a while ago.

Any photographer who will clean up your images can definitely take any bruise out of the picture Just make sure they know you're self conscious of the bruise and they'll keep an eye out for it in editing

Concealer and photoshop will work wonders! Don't worry!
I have way too many stretch marks to ever consider boudoir pics at this point. *sigh*
So I was totally excited about the prospect of laying in bed all day and sleeping for five or six hours in a row, then realized ... Nope, have to pump.
I guess it will at least give me a chance to keep up with you lady's today.
