I am 26 weeks today! Passed my GTT and have OB appointment Thursday and MFM ultrasound Monday. I have decided to start maternity leave when our new semester starts, and met with my sub last night, so the countdown to Jan. 25 is on! Feels so soon. I have a swing and pack and play set up in my living room so it's all getting real. The crib arrived, and we checked it for damage, but it's back in the giant box in the living room until the nursery carpet is cleaned and the room painted. Ack.

I am also stalking charts and looking for BFPs! (ahem, Rama)

I'm 27+3 and feeling pretty good! We chose a doula practice last week and I passed my 1 hr glucose test, which is excellent because I can go on being a giant Christmas cookie whore. Yay!

I'm getting tired a lot more often now as I head into third tri, but just 80-odd days until baby girl arrives! Here's my uber-chic gym locker-room selfie:

I'm 14 weeks + 5 days and finally starting to feel better. I had my NT scan and Baby Muffin looked great! We heard the heartbeat for the first time, which was amazing and watched the baby kick and wave arms! So much movement! I am still constantly stalking and rooting for BFPs!

I'm 34ish weeks with DD. We got great news from my growth scan; DD is 29th percentile and her marginal cord insertion has resolved itself, so there is no need to talk eviction atm. Now the trick is going to be keeping her inside until I'm term. It seems like even slightly-above-average activity is giving me BHX. I'm home on the couch atm because after two days of activity my BHX have turned into contractions. Oops.

DS is 18mos and a little copy cat. It's recently become possible to have semi-conversations with him where he'll volunteer some info or ask questions without being prompted. He's super fun! Promise to post a photo next time.

Well, I'm home from my appointment and don't really have an answer. He thinks a part of the placenta probably broke off or something causing the bleed. If it keeps happening it could be an issue, but so far I should be fine. So here's to hoping it doesn't happen again!

Baby A will be 6 Months Old on Saturday! She weighs about 18lbs 3oz and is getting smarter by the day! She's eating purées & she loves it! She's doing great sitting up & is finally starting to laugh! She's definitely vocal these days and is still all smiles! She's rolling all,over the house and is trying to get up on her knees! Won't be long until I have a crawler!

E is growing so fast it seems! She's more of a little person every day. We've had some struggles at night but I'm getting the hang of it, I think. She's passed out in the RnP right now.

Hello GKU. It's been a while so I thought I'd pop in with an update.

I knew it was too good to be true when 1st and 2nd tri went so smoothly as 3rd tri is kicking my ass. RLP is crazy bad and it hurts to walk, sit, or stand, so that's been fun. I've literally been counting down the days until I can stop working becausing sitting all day in an office is only making things worse. Also I have no more patience left for any of my coworkers. In other news, I passed my GTT with flying colors and I finally got my heartburn under control on Friday after begging my OB for a solution. They now have me going every two weeks for my appointments so things just got real. We got the dresser/changing table in yesterday and got that set up, so the nursery is coming together. I'll leave you all with two AW pictures

The quilt top I made for the baby's nursery. It's dragon/castle themed and it was my first time making a quilt, so I'm super proud of myself.

Loving all the bumps and babes!

G is 6 weeks tomorrow (!?) and is making us gush with his new talent of smiling. I can't believe how much I love this little man.

6 week growth spurt/ "wonder week" has hit us the last few days so he is unhappy when not being held. Luckily he likes the wrap so I wore him most of yesterday.

Other than that just gearing up for the holidays.

In not so happy/exciting news, tl;dr version: I had contractions with bleeding last week but there was no cause on the u/s and my cervix is fine, so they don't know why it happened but they aren't concerned. Long version:

Last Saturday I started having random contractiony type pains that were painful. I didn't think much of it because shit happens and whatever I would just bring it up with the MW if it kept happening or got worse. Well, after Saturday they eased up a lot and weren't painful just a little achy and not as frequent (once every few hours or so). This continued for a few days, then Tuesday evening, out of nowhere, I started bleeding. It only lasted a couple hours and I didn't want to deal with the ER unless I absolutely had to, so I made an appt with my MW for the morning and waited.

MW did a quick u/s and everything looked fine but she couldn't really see everything on the mobile u/s so she sent me to the hospital to get a better one. Everything checked out and they couldn't find a cause, so she sent me to see my perinatologist in hopes he might have an answer. Then, on Friday, I had a panic attack and passed out on the side walk hitting my head. I was at my psych office and they called the ambulance while I was unconscious. So I have to go get xrays and all that jazz. I had a minor concussion, no big deal. But all the commotion made the contractions be more like they were Saturday. So the ER doctor did a quick exam and whatnot and said they were likely because of stress. So I don't know if I believe that or not, but whatever.

In 10 minutes I'm leaving to go see the perinatologist and I'm torn between hoping he has answers for me and hoping he doesn't. I really want answers because it seems like there are never answers when it comes to things going wrong in my pregnancies, but at the same time if they find something it's almost certainly bad news. Where if they don't find anything than it's just whatever. So I don't know.

But in happier news, Rama took me shopping and I actually found pants!!!

I'm so glad everything looks good. And I'm so sorry for your crap week! I hope your head is better and I hope your anxiety has eased up. Big hugs to you!

I'm late! We're 31+4!
We had our growth scan and check on the placenta yesterday, and good news! it moved so we are no longer at risk for anything. We got a great view of little man's chubby face, then he yawned and scared the shit out of us by turning into a zombie demon. Good news is also he's in the 59th percentile and is currently about 4 pounds. The technician said to expect about 8 pounds at birth....
