Hey! I grew up (and went to college & grad school) in Iowa!
I wanted to be team green last time but DS had other plans for us LOL. this time, we have a boy and a girl already and I'm practically a hoarder so we still have almost everything we would need for either sex. I think DH feels bad he got his way last time so he is on board this time! I like to be different some times. That is really the only reason I have for waiting to find out ha!
My boys wouldn't have let us be TG even if we wanted to. They were waving their dongs all over the ultrasound. I actually was the first to see it with DS2 lol
Due Date: Waiting to have u/s to confirm, but based on LMP, EDD is 8-16-16
Children: DD1 born December 2013
Team Green (I am holding firm on this decision. My DH is trying to persuade me to find out, but we found with DD, so it's my turn now!)
Pets: none
Interests/Hobbies: Playing/writing/listening to Music, Movies, Reading
Anything fun or interesting: I found out I was pregnant with DD, right after I interviewed for a job at my current place of employment. I worked in that position for almost 2.5 years. I just started a new job (at the same company) last week. The same week that I found out I'm pregnant with #2. I think it's funny. It adds a little stress to my life, but I'm so happy!
fem, I'm really excited about the age gap. I wanted a gap less than 3 years, and I wanted a summer baby. I'm really happy this worked out for us. I'm excited to see DD as a big sister.
Have you potty trained your DD yet? Is she still in her crib? (We'll have to work on potty training and transitioning DD to a big girl bed before LO #2 comes.)

How are you feeling about the age gap?
I am pretty happy with the age gap - we were aiming for around 3 years. I didn't want any closer because my DD is pretty needy. She is still nursing despite trying to cut back, and just recently is starting to get over pretty severe separation anxiety. Just this last month or two I feel like she will be a great big sister and not resent me for having another one!
No PT yet, she's gone a few times but I haven't pushed it yet. How about you? And we went to a toddler bed very early (16 months). She has always been an awful sleeper, and HATED cribs. She starts off in her bed and usually ends up in with us halfway through the night . I'd like to fix that before this one though.
frodabaggins What sort of music do you do? I played cello through college, and played clarinet in band & soprano horn in drum corps growing up.
That's awesome! I adore all of those instruments but especially cello
Grew up as a pianist and always writing my own music, inspired by my favorite film score composers, but when I went to college for piano performance, I didn't realize you could study film scoring in college! Like, I didn't know that was "a thing". So after college I went and got my masters in composition and film scoring, and now I work full time as in-house composer for a company that licenses music for film, tv, ads, etc. In the hours after my son goes to bed I still work on my own projects scoring short/indie films, but it's so hard to balance now being a full time mom and having a full time job! I also still work part time as a pianist at a church as well.

Team (Green/Finding out): Finding out as soon as possible!
Pets: nope
Interests/Hobbies: Car seat safety, breastfeeding, couponing, reading. I used to be more interesting and travelled a lot, danced, skied, etc but let's be real I haven't done those things in, oh, 3.5 years.
Sorry! I'm still trying to figure TCF out. It's a lot different from TB. TCF ate my post. Boo!
fem , We haven't started PT all. She has sat on the toilet a few times and that's it. She is still happy as a clam in her crib, but I think transitioning her into a toddler bed will be the easier of the two.
It's also my best friend's birthday. We work together and are going to the movie tonight with two of our other friends and today has already been such an amazing day with everyone giving her Star Wars-related gifts. I'm wearing my Sith Lord outfit (all black, black boots) and many Star Wars buttons.

My oldest has really gotten into Star Wars and I am loving it. We aren't mega huge Star Wars fans but, of all things my Autistic child has obsesses over, I can totally encourage and enjoy a love of the Lucasfilms

I gotta admit, I'm a little bummed out they aren't releasing TFA on May 4th.
Right? would have been very appropriate and perfect
