30 grams of fiber and two colace a day per my doctor's recommendation, and I still can't "go." TMI, but this sucks.
I've been living like this for years lol. The only thing that helped me was "Smooth Move" tea. I quit that during the TWW and dr says I can have up to 4 colace each day. I also drink a gallon of water a day so no one knows why I can't poop. Bad genes I guess.
I honestly do not know. I'm a tea junkie, and after my last loss I just happened to stumble upon an article about a chamomile tea being an abortifacient. I haven't researched anything since, I just decided to stay away from herbal teas. I know my dr says not to take anything with senna or any laxative at all really. Only stool softeners since there is no stimulant. I may ask about the smooth move at my next appt.
It was recommended to me during my first pregnancy by my ob nurse. Call and check to be sure.
I am already on a restricted diet due to IBS-C. So far it doesn't seem much worse than normal. FX that my constipation doesn't get too horrible or I will have to live on laxatives.
I have serious gas issues. I burp and fart like a man. I've been good about making sure my legs are shaved, but I haven't touched ladyville in a long time. I kind of realized today that IDGAF. Years of infertility treatments and I have no shame.
Pooping was one thing I was worried about given that I naturally am a little on the constipated side, I figured when you add in enough progesterone to bring down a small horse, I would be in trouble. Nope. Apparently pregnancy makes me a super regular pooper.
I would happily take some of the pregnancy constipation everyone bitches about.

Ha! Me too!!!! I'm pooping round the clock. You'd think it would help with my bloat bump. But nope.
Whoa. I just took my first dose of progesterone and I feel drunk. This might be a problem.
Prometrium? That shit will knock you out. I had to switch around my progesterone schedule so that I took the prometrium at night. I can't function while on it

Generic, but yeah. I basically stumbled over to the recliner and crashed. Then when food was finished a half hour later, it took me a good few minutes to understand what the hell was going on. I'll keep an eye on it, hopefully it's not so bad now that I know what to look for, 'cause I gotta take this shit twice a day. ...which means right before work.

Luckily I am on a few forms of progesterone. I started taking prometrium twice daily, but couldn't function. My RI told me to take both at night. So I switched my progesterone injections to the am and then take my prometrium and suppository at night.
You might want to ask about taking it vaginally instead of orally, that might reduce the side effects.

Thanks, Twinkie!
So far so side effects from this morning's dose, but I'm going to continue keeping an eye on it. If it happens again tonight, I'm definitely gonna get a call into the RE.
