Little man just got a whole lot cuter though! His cord stump came off--minus a tiny scab still there-- so were trying cloth diapers for the first time today and his first pair of actual pants. His bum is so much cuter!

LO must be going through the 3 week growth spurt. He was up every hour last night. DH complained that he got 6 hours of sleep. *eye roll* I think I got maybe 3 all together.

DH has to put DS down for his nap today. I'm sitting in a quiet house with my iPad. This feels like a vacation. I just hope DS naps for a long time, because I want to hang out AND take a nap. I'm getting greedy.

Last night DH was on the couch with baby girl sleeping on his chest and he says,"I hate to wake her but I think she needs a changing." Before he could finish his sentence she had a poosplosion so loud I couldn't help but crack up. Then I hear him from the other room: "Man that's a big nasty poop!
That better have been a fart, you better not have pooped in the diaper I JUST put on you. I'm going to check.
Dangit it IS poop!
(At this point she starts fussing and DH is putting on the diaper cream.) Oh, you don't like people messing with your butt? Then stop pooping on it so much!"
My husbands last name is known to Albanians as a "bad luck last name." Now I know why waaahhhh. We can NOT catch a break. I need to change my name back to my maiden name.

What happened hon?
Nothing serious(anymore). H's throat closed up and he got hives because Outback had shrimp that touched his steak in the kitchen and he is deathly allergic to seafood. He got rushed into an ER room but he's better now! I now have a stye in my eye as off this morning, and H and I found a new place but the offer fell through

Finally things are starting to get back to normal around here. Right after the birth everyone and there neighbors wanted to visit me at the hospital or at home, which was more tiring than having a baby! They kept saying nap when baby is napping, ok I will if you leave!
Dh needs to hurry up and get out of the bathroom. LO is asleep and I'd like to shower.
There is such a short window to get stuff done! At least that's how it is for us. I feed DS2, get him asleep or comfy in the swing, and then I try to pack in everything I need to get done. DH doesn't really understand the urgency of it, and if he dawdles around and makes me have to wait until after the next feeding session - ugh! So annoying.

I'm sorry. I hope things turn around for you guys.
Went to lunch with DH, the twins, and baby girl. Lunch itself wasn't so bad as I nursed her the entire time but we gave two time outs for kicking and two time outs for not holding hands in the parking lot. Now everyone else is napping but I'm pumping. Yay.

Baby girl - why do you sleep contently through the daylight and noise and insanity of daytime in wonderful 4 hour stretches, but squeak and squawk and want to nurse every 2 - 2 1/2 hours at night?

I'm going on a week of battling a headache. I've tried caffeine, water, Gatorade, tylenol, and even my old glasses. It feels like I smashed my left eye socket against a wall.

Do you wear your hair up? Sometimes letting mine down helps since I wear my hair pretty tight.
Tonight H is giving LO formula for one feeding so I can sleep. I'll still pump, but I won't have to be up as long and hopefully she'll sleep longer after having the formula too. FX. We've had a rough few nights.
Yep, I got really excited when the pediatrician gave us the ok to stop setting alarms for feeds, but Hazel's still up every 2-3 hours. I actually got 2.5 straight hours of sleep so far and feel like a new woman! One of these days if she can manage like 4 hours, I'll really be thrilled! I miss sleep more than I ever knew possible. I know better than to fall for this with mine. He would so do this, and he's offered a few times to let me sleep while he bottle feeds pumped milk, but I don't even bother for the fact that I know he'll just keep sleeping and I'll have to wake him myself anyway. It's not even worth it. I wake up when Hazel stirs, but he won't until she's screaming bloody murder. I figure I'll spare myself the disappointment of expecting my husband to take care of her and just do it myself. So much for drinking more than like half a beer for a very long time...
I tried waking him up. He didn't even stir so I just sat there and bitched the whole bottle and I'm now sitting downstairs pumping. He's getting pushed, kicked, hit out of bed once the older 2 wake up. He was supposed to stay sober. Sucks to suck, follow through on your word.
I have a feeling this will happen to me as well the next 12 hours or so... supposed to go out to a friends house tonight and drink, eat, and play card games and it's mommy's turn to drink for a change. DH says he will stay sober so we can make it back home, but I know from the past I will have to stop drinking to sober up to drive (or plan to stay there).

If I do it's a loose messy bun. But I've been wearing it down lately.
DH is getting a glimpse into what it is like for me during the week when he is at work and I am loving it.... he hates it when LO starts crying and he has no clue as to what to do, but since I spend more time with her I have a pretty good routine down and have to tell him what to do or show him (kind of funny). I was at least able to go to the grocery store today and make an ooey gooey butter cake

Doing much better now! DH and I talked about me needing more help (especially on the weekends) and he took DS and let me have an hour nap! He is out with a friend again right now but I feel much less overwhelmed by my hormones when I've had a little sleep
