This is my first encounter with morning sickness and this AM it hit me like a freight train! Ugh!!! Haven't actually puked but am getting pretty close to doing so. I hate this queasy feeling! Any remedies you guys care to share? I'm going to hit up TJ's in a day or two and will probably pick up what dc2london suggested (actually, can you please post it again b/c I don't remember which thread that was in!)

Sea bands actually made me sicker the little I tried them. I gave them to a friend to try.
Eating small quantities of carbs throughout the day helps me. Other than having a full stomach at all times, none of the basic remedies (ginger, peppermint, lemon, etc.) make a dent in it.
B6 and Unisom (basically mixing my own over-the-counter Diclegis) 100% stopped my vomiting. If I hadn't started taking it during my pregnancy with DD2 I would have ended up losing too much bodyweight.
Sea Bands help me, but I know everyone is different. I also really like Preggie Pop Drops, and sipping ginger ale helps some (I think it's a combination of the ginger and the carbonation).
I agree with gratefulgirl about trying to keep food in your stomach. I would say keep a packet of saltines handy and munch on a couple at least every hour or so.
Thanks gratefulgirl & musicgirl - I've got a case of ginger ale in the fridge and have been having some since I got up. Just opened a pack of saltines - and now I want some aerosol cheese with it! I usually prefer the unsalted tops but at ties like these, I wish I had the salted ones. Oh and as for the seabands, I tried it once in a cruise and it didn't work too well for me so I just stuck with Dramamine
Today's nausea is the worst I've had yet. And today is the holiday potluck. If everything didn't sound totally gross, I'd have a better idea of what works for me that I could share.
I can't eat lunch today because I'm too nauseous, so I'm going to try some of these. For my first 2 pregnancies, I took Zofran occasionally, but I'm too scared to take it again with all the recent warnings. I haven't found anything that has worked successfully yet this time. I'm nauseous almost 24/7.

I do not go here... but I am a survivor of 40 weeks of MS.
25-50 mg of B6 every 8 hours around the clock helped (Solgar is one brand that carries a dose that small, check your health food store or Amazon). Constantly eating/nibbling/drinking water was a key. High protein snacks were important. Getting too hungry made me puke.

I have started eating 2-3 almonds every hour in which I don't eat a meal. The protein seems to ve helping a little, plus almonds are full of calcium and folate
I've also heard that protein can really help, overall, with the nausea. I craved meat all last week, but now it's kind of gross. Hard boiled eggs are somehow still appealing? But if there's any particular protein you can handle, try it.
I forgot about this! I used to try and combine proteins and carbs with my DDs - peanut butter on toast, meat and rice or pasta with dinner, that sort of thing.

almonds have been my jam, too. I filled a bag at Winco and munch a handful when the nausea strikes.

I have been taking my thyroid med in the middle of the night during one of the 10 trips to the bathroom. That way I can eat when I get up if I want. But I also did it because otherwise I'd vomit up the meds because I get sick every morning.

Not sure if that would help you.
I'm really nervous about this too because I take synthroid and I actually wait a full hour to eat because my TSH gets all wonky if I'm not careful with it... No real MS so far but I do wake up really hungry so I'm worried it will be a problem soon. So far I don't have to get up during the night but once that starts I will totally move my synthroid earlier! Good idea.

agpjt413, I felt completely normal yesterday. Major bloated and uncomfortable constipated again today, gah! I know its a bit scary when the symptoms go away, but try to enjoy a day with out it. I am sure it will come back!

Well, my bloat had disappeared for a couple of days, but I just had to dig my belly band out of my purse. Literally over the course of 30 minutes I went from "okay" to "holy shit my pants are strangling me". Wtf body?
I may have to resort to fountain Coke today. I don't want to, but damn it works
Dude, do what you gotta do. Everything in moderation--one Coke (even one a day!) isn't going to hurt anything. (Says the girl who drinks at least half of a Diet Coke each day.)
