I'm alive. I've been lurking here and there. Usually by the time I see something, everyone has moved on. I play on my local board, but being back to work severely limits my play time. Here's my little guy with the fur baby photobombing.
@pcrunk luuurve your bibdanas! Those are the most reasonable prices I've seen anywhere!
If you're talking about the $5 ones.. That was just a sale on extra ones I had that weren't moving. They're about $9-10 normally.
That's still pretty good. The baby boutique here sells them for $24. They're very nice and have a rubber teether on the bottom, but my kid goes through like 5 bibs/ day at DC.

I think you mean the Neckerchew? They are amaaazing quality! They're made in Scotland. :-)
That's the one! I'm sure it's totally worth it. I could spend way too much at that boutique, but he's a slobber monster and soaks through bibs like crazy.

@pcrunk's bibdanas and beanies at e the best. I've ordered bibdanas from other etsy shops and @prunk's are bigger and softer. The material is perfect for soaking up lots of drool.
I have some leggings in my mailbox waiting for me when we get home tonight!!
omgeez peeps - i'm so sorry that it's been forever and a day since i've logged on - i just happened to check while pumping and checked this thread (btw i didn't get an email notification or such so who knows?). I'm apologizing in advance if this long but just wanted to give you guys a quick update.
Baby E is doing great! he's almost 8.5 months (born 31w so technically just over 6 months). He's a little behind on the developmental milestones but the drs and his early intervention therapist aren't concerned so i'm trying not to be. he's been 'pre-teething' a/k/a drooly for a while and goes at his sophie like nobody's business so we're anxiously awaiting the arrival of a tooth or two. at his last check up, around 7.5m, he was 15lbs (a long way from 2lbs6oz) and i forget his height. The good news is is that his weight and head are finally on the "term" baby scale while he's in the 75th% for his birth weight. He's a shorty (25th% for his birthweight) but I"m 5'1" and his dad is 5'8" so it's not like he's going to be a giant.
Still breastfeeding which has been difficult since he has had a bunch of food intolerances. went dairy free in June, soy free in august, egg and seafood free in October - then got cleared to try seafood (we passed) and now we're on soy (we'll find out if we passed in about a week) - after all this time, we think it was the egg which was irritating him but his GI keeps saying that he should grow out of the rest of the food intolerances soon - makes me a really unhappy momma bc i love to eat but it's worth the sacrifice.
i read the thread and saw references to DTD - we've been about 1x/month since month 4. it was a bit difficult during oct and nov as my parents unexpectedly needed to stay with us and my parents were the ultimate c@ckblocker.
finally, been back to work since august - it has been REALLY hard - working long hours as an attorney person really sucks, especially when there's a real reason to go home (not that my husband wasn't a reason.....) - i finally feel like i'm back into the swing of things and am back to working until 7pm most nights...which messes up our night sleep routine but i guess we'll figure it out when we can. i still pump 3x a day (am, once at work, and pm) and hope to get him to 12months but we'll see. stress from work has been slowly decreasing my supply..
ok gotta run and get to work. miss you guys - reading this thread alone totally made my day and i'll try to keep in touch better. Here's a pic of my guy all taken within the last month.
Baby Elliott (technically) due 6.13.2015 but born via c-section on 4.12.2015 at 31w1d after 31d of hospital arrest (think house arrest) for monitoring.
OMG missed all you ladies (even though I haven't been much better at posting myself lately...oops). Glad to see everyone is back, hopefully for more than one thread!
And just to put my crazy AW in...I'm going to start trying to get KU again in January! I want to do it while I'm still exhausted. If I go back to my regular eating/sleeping/life schedule, I'll never do the baby thing again and LO will become the more spoiled child on the planet lol
I'm outing myself as a lurker... I'm a regular on the July '15 board, but DS was born June 19th, so sometimes I like to come over here and check out what other June babies are up to.
Welcome! I lurked July today:) you guys have a funny thread for the Xmas exchange presents.
I'm here ... I fell off the face of the earth when kiddo went to daycare, got his first colds, we bought a house, and I went back to work. October/start of November was a blur.

*sheepish wave* hi!
Welcome back! Congrats on the new house!
Thanks -- it's been an insane few months but I think we're back to normal (ahahahahaha!!)
