Pregnancy tests aren't necessarily a good indicator of what's going on. Different brands have different sensitivities, and they'll also be affected by how concentrated the urine is.
Have you had your HCG measured yet? I would call your OB on Monday and ask for a quantitative HCG blood draw, followed up by another one 48 hours later. That should tell you a lot.
How far along do you think you are? I hope everything turns out okay. Sending you hugs.

As everyone else has said, there could be a lot of different reasons. Maybe your urine was just not as concentrated this morning. Call your OB to ask if they'll do a quantitative HCG test, but know that you'll have to have 2 blood draws about 48 hours apart before you can get any useful information from the numbers. Good luck!

Stepping away from the sticks. Calling my OB first thing Monday. Thank you ladies. I will be holding my breath for a few days.. (Or months..if I'm lucky)
I saw that I think your first positive was a faint line on the 27th, yes? Have the lines since then been darker and then today was lighter? When is your period due? I am sorry, I know this is stressful. One of my best friends is going through the same thing. The early tests are a blessing and a curse. Huge hugs to you!

My period was due around the 26th. I got a positive on the 27th. Tested the next day and also had a faint line. Thursday I did a digital test (all First Response) and got a yes. This morning I did FRER and EPT and got only the faintest of lines on both. So I don't know. Possibly a chemical pregnancy but I guess we will see what my OB says Monday. If I start bleeding before then, do I still need to call the doctor?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Anything is possible. HCG ranges are all over the place in early pregnancy - one person could be at a 20 and another person at a 200 and both be the same gestation and have healthy babies (http://americanpregnancy.org/while-pregnant/hcg-levels/). Tests only tell you that you are producing HCG. If it were me, I would try to stay busy/distracted and test again on Monday. I would also go ahead and call your doctor because it wouldn't hurt to have a beta draw just for your peace of mind. I would call even if you started bleeding as they might want you to come in anyway just to make sure your levels start going down like they are supposed to in that case.
In the land of pregnancy after loss, there is a mantra of "today I am pregnant and I love my baby".....I would just repeat that to yourself all weekend too, because it is true today no matter what happens tomorrow. All of that said, I am crossing my fingers for a sticky baby for you! Hugs mama.

I'm so sorry. Know that there are many of us on this board who have had a m/c at some point and gone on to have healthy pregnancies after. We're here for you.
