Anyone else crazy enough to brave the crowds for the sales? It's a tradition in my family- pretty sure this will be the last year since next year we will have a 4 month old, and DNW to battle Midwest winter and crowds with a baby. Nobody needs towels and sheets that bad

I've never done the post-Christmas sales thing. I'm probably a good candidate as we do Christmas with the in-laws on New Years Day, and my husband often procrastinates on shopping for them. We're actually mostly done with them now, though.
Bad, painful gas woke me up (although at 5:30 rather than 3:30, so progress??). Also one of my ears is ringing.
DH woke up at 6:45 and I can't fall back asleep so I'm catching up on yesterday's post. We ran around like crazy people all day yesterday. By the time things settled down is was after 10pm and i was exhausted. I hope you all had a great day.
Also, my sister and I are going to target. Her boyfriend is in Kabul until 1/6 (finally coming home soon!) and she needs to pick up Christmas candy for him. Smart girl waiting for the sales lol
I took 2 naps yesterday and for once didn't wake up crazy early this morning. Though I did wake up with morning sickness. I'll take sleeping in though. Worth it!

Yep! Boxing Day is a tradition for us too (British and Canadian family). My 2 boys need to be in different post codes for a while so I am taking the little one in a shopping and lunch date
Leaving town today, so of course the cat is having tummy troubles. Sweetie is freaking out that the cat won't be okay this time. She's had tummy troubles more or less consistently for 6 years. But you can't reason with a scared pet-parent.
In other news, I cleaned out the cat's horrible food dish (she eats raw ground turkey) and nearly vomited. That was fun. I was fine cleaning up cat vomit this morning though. Travel is the best.
Good morning ladies. I was thinking about going shopping the morning, but my laziness won out instead. I'm relaxing on the couch while my girls play with their new toys. We are going to try to get the house cleaned up from Christmas and reorganize the play room this weekend. Fun fun!

DD2 was up for a while last night because H pushed her bedtime too late. I am sloooowly waking up.
I thought about checking sales for Calico Critters for DD1's birthday, but H is in his usual post-Christmas gripe about too many toys. Every year I try to reign him in before Christmas and it never works. Then after Christmas he realizes how much the girls got and flips out.
My H looked at A this morning and said, "daddy has chores to do, I'm running the show now." I started laughing and said, "what does it feel like to be me?" He goes, "it sucks, I hate it, and I'm ready for you to feel better."

DH had to work today so DS and I are having another lazy day at home.
My breakfast for the past 3 days has been a bag of apple chips and one sugar cookie. I sit for a few minutes and contemplate making something else and then I just settle on those because it's easy.
esquette that's disgusting and should definitely NOT be your job right now!
I just feel bad, because litter boxes used to be my cat job, but my OB said no more. So my Sweetie had a million cat things to do today. But I can't handle the raw turkey stuff right now. Sigh. I hate feeling useless, especially knowing I could be useless for a while.
We are being super lazy today, I might not even get out of pajamas if I can help it lol Right now we are binge watching X files and then I plan on doing some reading while DH plays some video games. I know our lazy days are numbered, so I'm enjoying it while I can
I don't really want to get out of my PJs or off the couch today, but my brother is in town for the next few days so I'm going to have to rally and do some fun family activities.

This is my DH, too. And we haven't had Christmas #4 with his family (who do overbuy for the kids) yet.

So I need to admit that this morning I bought my first baby clothes post bfp. Since I went to Christmas sales I got a little Santa outfit and a sleeper with a reindeer on it(reindeer feet too!). I could not help myself!!
