Work has seriously kicked my ass today I'm so glad it's over.
Does anyone have an issue drinking water and getting nauseous? I'm trying to drink 64 ounces but if I do it on an empty stomach I feel queasy so I'll eat some saltines. Any other suggestions would be helpful.

If I drink big gulps I get nauseous so I have to take small sips usually.

Yes. With DS2 I could only drink very, very cold bottled water, through a straw. This time i have to put lemon in it

Oh! I'll just say this once so it's not spammy, but if anyone is interested in one of those free car seat canopies, udder covers, belly bands, baby leggings, nursing pads, seven slings, nursing pillows or baby books, I am a marketing affiliate with them. Use my code COFFEEMOM1 to get your free items and you just pay s&h. I can get you think links to the sites if anyone is interested

I can not drink anything on an empty stomach or I'll get sick. I always keep saltines or a snack nearby. It's hard.

Yeah I bitched a few days ago about not having morning sickness, now it's like if I don't have a saltine in my stomach, I get sea sick.

I've never been able to drink water on an empty stomach. It comes right back up.
if it was possible I would have throat punched H though the phone today. I am craving potato soup HARD right now and when I told him that's what I was making for dinner he stated 'thats not a dinner, soup can't be dinner' Dude, do you know how long it took me to come up with something I felt like cooking that didn't make me gag when I thought of eating it?? So now I have to make a kale caesar and toss in leftover turkey breast... its not the end of the world but man it ticks me off...
Nah. You make your potato soup and toss a sandwich to the side of his! Eat whatever sounds good to you!!
Better yet, make the soup and direct him to the salad fixings in the fridge to make himself
So, apparently being gone for an hour is "a really long time" according to my SO who stayed home with DD1. He had to do literally nothing for her, since I fed and changed her before I left. I left a bit early for my appt because I didn't know how the roads would be (mostly fine, for the record). So whinypants's reason for commenting? He wanted a nap. After saying he would "try" not to nap today. GDI dude, fix your effing sleep cycle!
I managed to get laundry done and the kitchen clean before sickness got overwhelming. Now, I'm in a ball on the floor counting down the last hour before my H comes home.
I was relatively successful in my pants search. Cause I know you needed an update. I didn't want maternity pants but goodwill had a pair I couldn't turn down. Now I just need work pants. They had elastic ones just not in the right size. I will look for them some other time.
SOs mom comes into town tomorrow. I am meeting her at the airport. SO doesn't want to announce to anyone so I hope she thinks midday naps for me now are normal. And that I don't want food that smells Is a completely normal thing too

I've been drinking a lot of seltzer and hot water with lemon and/or ginger.
I feel like a small bus has hit me every morning, not because of nausea, but because I am so darn tired. I'm happy family is around during the holidays so I can nap and try to recharge a little. Thankfully, DD has no problem with others taking care of her.

I LOVE soup and completely agree that it's a meal- my husband does not agree with this. Luckily, DS takes after me and loves soup. So I say 2 vs 1 and make soup all the time. He can fend for himself if he doesn't like it.
Me (30) MH (32) Dx: MFI (low all the things) M. 10/11. TTC Since 01/14 IUI#1-3(Letrozole + Trigger) = BFN Second Opinion. Changed RE's. IVF 09/15 Long Lupron 12R/9M/8F, Transferred 1=BFN. 4 frosties. FET #1 12/15 Transferred 1 (3 still on ice)
I haven't had power since about 11 last night. Very frustrating with a two year old, a ten month old, and being pregnant.
Oh no! I hope it gets restored soon! I can't imagine no power for that long with my littles.
Luckily, we're at my grandma's so we're all warm. But we all slept in the living room last night at our house and the kids were up and down all night. It was awful.

Congrats to all the good ultrasounds today! Such exciting news.
We made it home from our huge road trip. DD2 was practically running around the house (she's barely walking, but she does try to run) checking out all her stuff. It is so good to be home. And H made dinner and food for the week's lunches.
Today's "calm your nausea" food for me is hot chocolate made from shaved chocolate, thanks to my stocking from MIL.
Got a call around 9am to come see an OB for an update on our situation. We talked about today's MTX dose and she told me to expect today's beta to rise instead of drop, which is good because I would have panicked hardcore. Doubling time was something in the 80-hour range. Apparently, an effect of MTX is rising betas between dose 1 and 2. It causes the ectopic to kind of "explode", making a whole bunch of hCG before dropping when it resolves the pregnancy. Luckily, symptoms are normal and the worst I've dealt with is cramps so far. Second dose got administered around 5pm today.
Next follow up is on Thursday, Day 7,and we should see dropping numbers by then. Once we see them start going down, we're looking at weekly betas until negative. I've already gotten my RE up to speed on my condition and they'll just request updated records when we're ready to get back to treatment.
The Christmas OB wanted us to wait two months for healing purposes, but today's OB said that if our RE was okay with us starting right after negative betas, then that's fine with her, too. We'll see how long it takes to get negative and if it's a comfortable amount of time for us, plus we get some of our finances under control, we might not wait an extra two months to try again.
We're both scared, but hopeful that next time is perfect and we get our rainbow. :)

I had an appointment with my RI today and then spent the rest of the day trying to get home from the Chicago suburbs. Stupid ice storm.
My appointment went great. I had an u/s and our little gummy bear was measuring 2 days behind (they always measure smaller there, so not really worried about that) and had a heart rate of 176. My SCH has shrunk considerably and is only 1cm X .3cm. I also had my IVIg infusion and they were able to give me a donated dose, which will save me a few thousand dollars. My immune levels are much improved and I get to drop my prednisone from 30mg to 25mg. My estradiol levels dropped some so I have to add oral estrace to the mix, but that's not a big deal.
Here's a pic of our gummy bear (DH thinks it looks like a platypus):

I'm glad it sounds like you are in good hands. I have my FX that your next cycle brings you your rainbow. ((Hugs))

How do I know if I have a cold or just pregnancy rhinitis? And if I am sick, is there any danger to the baby or anything I should do about it, or just suck it up? I HATE colds.
A cold won't harm the baby but, unfortunately, there isn't much you can do for them either
