Carter is in his crib for now, but will be moving to a full sized bed in February sometime. I don't want to buy another crib for baby #2 and Carter will eventually need to go into a bed. Also, the larger my tummy gets the harder it is to get him in and out of his crib.
We just transitioned to a bed yesterday in preparation for the new baby. DD did great! She slept just as well as she did in the crib and slept the same hours. I was worried because she's a great sleeper and I was afraid to mess with it, but she loves her big girl bed. She never even tried to get out of the bed. I'm pretty sure she doesn't know she can get out on her own lol

E will be in her crib until she tries to climb out, or until we need it for another baby. Though that won't be until next winter/spring at the absolute earliest. She has made a couple half-assed attempts to get her leg up over the side, but has not succeeded and I am not even sure what she would do if she did get her leg up. So we're good for now.

Still in the crib here. She hasn't made an effort to climb out yet and she sleeps well so I don't want to mess with it. Her crib is convertible so we bought a new convertible for DD2 as well.
He's still technically in the crib, though he spends half the night in bed with me. We will be transitioning soon too since I'm now too short and round to lower him into the crib if he's already asleep.
We transitioned Levi to his own bed, a full mattress on the floor, at around 18 months. He liked it for a short period of time, then slowly I relented and I am bed sharing. We are doing some work in our basement so Levi's room has toys that I plan on moving to the basement once work is completed. Then full force on to moving him in his own bed again; may not be until birthday time. He slept in his crib about 2.5 times!
opps edit to add he has climbed/fell out of a crib at my mom's (nap time) more than once. He is anti-crib not necessarily me!
mine is still in her crib. I have heard from other moms don't move them until they are climbing out of the crib - just because they are confined in the crib. Mine has no urge to climb the crib, she loves it. And I don't feel like she is mature enough to have free reign at night yet, even if it is just her room.
