Hi all. Tuesday really is so useless and basically the worst day ever. At least this Tuesday is.
I posted a rant in WTO already, so to sum it up: DS has a raging yeast infection that kept him up until 2AM. H and I were also fighting, so I have all the feels about that plus being way tired.
In other news, Ice-mageddon 2015 wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. We didn't get the freezing rain as predicted, mostly just sleet. We actually went out for dinner last night because it was really that bad.
TTC #1 March 2014 BFP #1 April 2015 - MC 12 weeks, D&Cs on 6/17 and 6/24 DX: PCOS & Endometriosis Current TX: Metformin and Femara Lap to remove stage 4 endo - October 2015
Oh man I do not miss the puppy days, mustloveerica! My dog is also a panty raider - if she gets in our room unattended and I have left the lid off the hamper, she's running out in the living room with a lace thong in her mouth. Luckily the one time she did that when my 12 y.o. stepson was there, he didn't notice - that would have been awkward!

Dexter (puppy) showed off a really lovely black thong to our entire family on thanksgiving. He came running into the room with a look of pure pride and a thong wrapped around his neck. Everyone laughed. I laughed too but on the inside I was dying.
I need to find my Fitbit that I got for Christmas last year. I am a land sloth lately.
Dude. Yes. So much sloth. This thing has shamed me and gotten me off my ass, which is exactly what I wanted.
Which model do you ladies have? I have a flex and wonder if there is any benefit to upgrading. I would like to see my step count on the device and not just the light indicators.

requiressnacks, that would be sublime..68 degrees. I have to put a towel over my DD vent in her room. So she doesn't die of heat. I think there will be an intervention. TODAY.
68 &71 degrees?! My thermostat is set at 76! But we are still rocking the 80 degree temps in the south! I actually want some colder weather for once... I want to wear my scarves and leggings!

I have the flex, which I regret. I'd like to be able to see my steps and my heart rate.

If I set my thermostat to 76 I'd be poor. But I'm in CT and it's cold.
starbuck27 I got a Fitbit for Christmas and love it, I want to get H one so we can compete. I've been sick since I got it, so am not tearing up the steps...yet!
My office is dead and I have one thing I have to do but am waiting for my boss to give me direction on it, which he said he would do last night but I have no message from him (he's skiing all week)...so I dragged myself in, still sick, in an ice storm just to sit here with nothing to do! Arghhhhhh. I'm so annoyed. But...MH had to drive in this AM so I got a ride. I'm just really hoping I can get out of coming in tomorrow...it all depends on my boss, though...and he doesn't seem to be cooperating!

76 degrees is it like a pool party in your house everyday. Bathing suits and just kiddie pools in random rooms for a dip. LOL! I would die. 80 degrees..and I was complaining about our 50 degrees. Christmas wasn't very "Christmas" this year with almost 60 Christmas eve. Yeah I have been wearing scarves in the morning and haven't had to pull out the fleece lined tights or my snow boots..its weird.

I have the flex. I wish I had the ChargeHR but at the time I didn't want to shell out the extra money. I think it would be cool to see more than just steps.

To clarify our AC is set to 76 not heat. I wore a sleeveless shirt on Christmas... My H wore shorts... It's normally not that warm!
Well we are slowly rebuilding servers and I got the P.O. system back so now I have to see how messed up it is and actually get a ton of invoices entered (haven't been able to enter any since Tuesday and what I did on Tuesday may have been lost)
And getting to work this morning was fun-we got over 8 inches of snow since noon yesterday.

I have the ChargeHR and really like it so far (only had for a week), I don't know about the differences between the different ones, but I like the alarm function, the HR, the display, and the sleep monitoring function!

THAT put things into perspective! Wow that's crazy. Do you live near a beach? Did you get to like go sunbath..that would be a merry Christmas to me.

I have the one and really like that I can see everything and clip it on to my clothes.
I would get a heart rate one if I didn't wear a watch, but I love my watch and it gets the priority.

Yes I do. I personally did not, I know friends/family that did. The sun is not as strong in the winter so it's harder to get a tan. But still nice to have the option!
So I've been debating getting a fitbit, and one big holdup for me is that, like rooskie, I wear a watch and cannot go without (I forgot it this morning and I feel naked and vulnerable - what time is it?!?) Does anyone with a watch use a fitbit? Do you put it on your wristwatch arm and just double up? Have a watch on one arm and fitbit on the other? It just seems like it could look silly either way. Is the One the way to go?
Basically, what I want is an Apple watch Which reminds me, Powerball is $300 million, I guess I should buy a ticket...

Have you tried looking at other brands? I had the same issue- I must always have a watch on, or I feel naked. None of the Fitbits really did it for me. I ended up falling in love with a wearable made by Garmin. It has a clock that is easily accessible. Give me a minute and I'll find a link to the one I got.

daisy818 I want the Apple Watch too MH said he thought about getting it for me but just couldn't spend the money...I'm glad he didn't bc it's silly expensive, but that is where lottery comes in... The FitbitHR does have a watch so you know the time at least. It's not as fashionable obviously...I tried doing watch on one hand and Fitbit on other but couldn't get used to it.

I think some of the wrist ones have a clock built in?? I just have a really nice Citizen watch that is huge and I can only handle having a hair tie with it on that wrist. I've never had a problem with my One and I've had it almost 2 years. It's been to Disney and Vegas with me.
