I weighed myself today for the first time since BFP. I'm like 6 lbs lighter than I was. I heard of it happening because of morning sickness but thought "nothing will come between me and food." Apparently hormones Will.
edit: oh and! I think my garlic aversion is coming to an end! I actually ate a little piece of pizza!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who seems to only be able to stomach junk food right now. The thought of eating a salad and drinking water makes me nauseous but I could do just fine with pizza and soda. I primarily just want salty Chinese, garlic sticks, pizza, french fries, you name it. There are a few healthy items that I do crave at least. Grapefruit, oranges, and clementines and drinking orange or apple juice. Well the juices aren't exactly healthy but hopefully better than soda

Ohhhh maybe you're having a boy! I could not get enough citrus with DS

I'm not exaggerating when I say I had popcorn with butter and salt for dinner almost daily for the first 18 weeks with DS1. Lunch was mainly Panda Express and breakfast McDonald's. I had so much trouble eating healthy foods. I normally eat mainly healthy foods, and he is a fantastic eater and has been his whole life. At three his favorite foods are Brussels sprouts and salmon. Don't beat yourself up! I try to eat healthy but just keep looking forward and don't focus on when I eat crap.

I slept 12 hours last night and am still tired. I think I got too much sleep.
I've been feeling so nauseous that I can barely get anything done. I had a lot of work planned to accomplish this long weekend. Literally nothing has been done.
Add me to the junk food club too. It's a little out of control. I'm on my way to my nephew's 1st birthday party so I'm sure that's all I'm going to eat there too!

We already know it's a girl the boy symptoms match up more for me though like the minimal nausea!

oh good point! That makes me feel a little less guilty. I've managed to convince myself that I'm already a bad mother... oy
I feel the same way! But I just read something this morning that said in first tri, prenatals provide all the nutrients baby needs at this size, so not to worry if ms is keeping you from eating right.
I'm a terrible eater all the time. I rely on my prenatal vitamin while pregnant , pretty hard. I gained 40 lbs last pregnancy eek. Hope to keep it under control this time. I did need the weight though bc my bmi is super low.
I just took all the clothing that I haven't worn in over a year because it is too small and put it in vacuum bag. it is very heavy. I have very nice clothing that doesn't fit me. oh well.

I got the Garden of Life raw prenatals made with organic fruits & vegetables on Amazon. Not quite sure how that works because somehow all that is in 3 horse pills but it sounds good. Hopefully it's like the equivalent of me eating lots of those good organic vegetables & fruits

We have delicious food in our house, but nothing with any flavor sounds good. I've barely eaten anything for days. Even water makes me want to puke. I was never this sick with DS and I can't help but think it's going to get worse before it gets better. DH has been awesome and has been helping so much. I'm dreading him going back to work tomorrow.
For those of you who've had to take anti-nausea meds while pregnant in the past, what were you on? Ginger ale isn't cutting it. I plan on discussing this with my OB at my appointment in a couple of weeks.
I was up half he night coughing and then DH was up early coughing. I want to take medicine so bad but have no idea what to take. I think I might call my OB tmrw if it doesn't get better. On a good note, after DD got up early and ate breakfast, she crawled herself back into bed with us and fell asleep and we slept till 9:45!! I needed that.

I took zofran a couple times with DD and it worked well.
Normally I get nauseous in the afternoon, but today I woke up with it and it's still going strong. I feel awful and it's making me nervous about going back to work... I don't want to throw up in front of my students!
