My mom and sister have been texting me tips to deal with nausea. I know they are trying to be helpful but I am just finding it irritating since neither of them has experienced morning sickness.
My MIL keeps asking how I'm feeling and telling me about how she had terrible morning sickness with DH thirty something years ago so she knows just how I feel. It really annoys me. Maybe I'm just being irritable.
And I made the mistake of getting into a conversation with my mother about how I'm feeling. So far I have been shamed for mentioning wanting hot dogs (have not actually eaten them and wasn't planning on it) because "there is nothing redeemable in hot dogs" and been told that I should eat certain foods even if they are unappealing/taste bad/make me feel worse and just rinse my mouth with mouthwash after eating them and I'll feel fine. Plus she knows what she is taking about because she has lived with T1 diabetics most of her life (huh?).

It's going to be a long pregnancy.
Hmm, I vote that if hot dogs sound good eat a damn hot dog. As long as it's warmed to steaming you're fine. I've been eating whatever sounds good. For me it's been mostly like I'm a 5 year old. Cheetios, chicken nuggets, fries, pb&j, bananas, and applesauce.
