H and I are burning through Sense8 on netflix.



ETA:  Just finished the season and heads up there is some major loss triggers in the last couple episodes.

Call the Midwife is my current show. So much so that I asked for and received the book trilogy for Christmas. At this point in time, I don't have any triggers, so I find it absolutely fascinating to read these memoirs.

Shout-out to starbuck27. I am pretty sure it was you I saw post about this show first.

I've been really into documentaries lately. Some good ones:

Chef's Table - docu-series about some bad ass chefs. Not really about cooking, more about their philosophies and the way they look at food.
Tapped - about the bottled water industry. Sounds kind of boring but it's actually pretty interesting.
Burt's Buzz - about the co-founder of Burt's Bees.
Food, Inc. - about the corporate food industry. You'll never look at food the same way again.
Exit Through the Gift Shop - Really cool documentary about Banksy and street art/grafitti
Jesus Camp - kids attend an evangelical Christian summer camp and shit gets weird.

That's all I can think of right now.

Another vote for Making a Murderer - not very uplifting but definitely crazy.

We've also been into:
- Silicone Valley
- Workaholics
- Downton Abbey (yes we are late to the game)

Call the midwife is seriously one of the best. It gives me all the feels. I'm so glad you're loving it!!
