Hi, I am new to the BF boards and just starting to participate in any online community. I posted a few times last week on TB but decided it would be better to move here if you guys will have me. My DD is 18 months and still BF's all the time. I am looking forward to getting to know you all.
Lurker jumping over from July 14 - I was active on that board at the place-that-shall-not-be-named.
As my IRL mom group friends (at least the working ones) are starting to wean (6-8 months), I realized I needed a bit more community support, so I thought I'd intro and try to follow along over here!
My LO is 6.5 months, has nursed like a champ from the beginning, and is generally a happy girl. I work full time (came back when she was 4 months old) so I spend a lot of my day pumping at my desk. My goal is to make it to at least a year with breastfeeding, and then stop pumping at work, and continue evenings and mornings for as long as she wants.
I posted occasionally on the BF board under the same screen name on TB, mainly in the Extended BFing check-in. Currently still nursing my 20 month old DD, and will contribute here where I feel I can

Hi. I wasn't really a reg anymore on the old board, but I still read a lot, supporting and answering questions when I could. This board really helped me make it to 18 months nursing DS.
Hey all! I was eggmankate on TB. I have a 13 month old daughter. Call me crazy, but I think AmyG HAS posted in the new forums...I could've sworn I saw a post from her lately. Maybe it was on the Parenting boards now that I think about it.....
Hi! I was a regular on the old board, I have an almost 20 month old DD who I nursed until 18.5 months. We've weaned, but I'm still around to give back the wonderful support I received as a new nursing mom.

Hi! I'm glad to see that this BFing board is looking busy. I haven't posted on the BFing board lately, but I have a 4 year old that I BF for 3.5 years and am currently BFing my 4 month old daughter. I just started back at work this week so will likely have questions about pumping.
I was a huge lurker of this board on TB and have learned SO much from you ladies. Hoping to participate more now! I'm a FTM with an 11 week old (as of tomorrow) DS. My goal is to BF for a year. I go back to work in a week and am hoping that my supply doesn't suffer.
Hi! I'm new to this board, but would like to participate more if you'll have me. My LO is almost 10 months and we're hoping to make it at least a year. Hopefully my supply holds up!

I hated switching boards on TB on my phone so I rarely ventured back to the bfing board after DD was born but I want to be here now. She recently weaned at about 17 months old, mostly because I'm pregnant and my supply was dwindling. She was down to only 2 sessions a day anyways and just stopped asking every day and then before I knew it she hadn't asked for a couple of weeks. I'm due in April. Hi

I've read and posted just as much on the breastfeeding board as I did on my BMB since my LO was born, so I'm really glad some regulars have come over. I'm 4 months into EBF, and just started back to work so now I'm pumping for 2-4 feeds a day. So hi everybody!

Just wanted to say hi as well. I have mostly been a lurker. It took me a while to get over here but am glad I did so. The ladies on this board have been so wonderful and supportive. I can't believe we're 14 months and still nursing. Just wanted to say thank you....as I go back to lurking:)

I already posted a question, but I'll introduce myself as well.
I'm a lurker since DD was born. She was born 11.1.14 (12 weeks) and was late pre term. My breastfeeding journey has been a difficult one, including: borderline severe jaundice, over supply, high lipase, and a poor latch due to lip tie that an ENT won't cut because it will "recede by itself".
I never knew how hard breastfeeding really is until I experienced it myself. There were so many times at the beginning that I was so close to throwing in the towel. I'm proud to say we're still going strong by my sheer stubbornness.
I find it easier to keep going if I make little goals for myself. I made it to the 3 month goal. Now I'm shooting for 6 months. My ultimate goal is to make it to at least a year.
You ladies kept me sane and are a wealth of knowledge and I can't wait to jump in more.

Hi- I stuck mostly to the O14 board since we've had such a strong BF thread and lovely ladies with lots of expertise but I'd love to join in this group as well that includes some O14 names
My original BF goal was 3 months and now working to make it through the first month of work. Wouldn't have made it this far without the ladies on the forum even if it was just hearing each one overcoming their individual challenges.

Hi! I was never on the BF board on TB, but here I am now! I'm nursing my 3 month old DD. My first goal was to make it 3 months, and now my next is 6 months. Ultimately I'd like to make it at least a year.

We have the same plan! I'll be here for support if you need it
I have 7 month old twins. One is ebf and I pump for the other. I have Crohn's disease and am on some pretty strong meds and constantly think of stopping, but infant risk says they are ok. I go back and forth constantly about what is best for them. I love bf'ing and hate pumping.
