I went horseback riding earlier and really, really need to get some half chaps. I have a lovely bruise on my knee from posting. Should make the stationary bike fun! On the plus side, my new (to me) saddle is splendid.

AF showed today, found out a friend who "wasn't even trying" is KU, and I was asked to help with a baby shower for co-workers and my BFF and I are on a girl date tonight...I plan to enjoy cocktails and bad food until I am rolled home.

Apparently getting insured wasn't the only hurdle I had to face. Now its becoming an established patient, which could take months. Oh well...

30ish more minutes of work, then yay weekend. Tonight our gourmet meal will probably be hot dogs. I'm not much of a cook. Then probably video games tonight.

Tomorrow the cleaners come, so my house will look like a Better Homes & Gardens cover for about 30 minutes before it get disheveled by occupants again!

DS (well, all of us) got an ice shaver for christmas because this kid is OBSESSED with making snowballs at home.

Anyways, I just opened that sucker up, got it all cleaned, and made myself a frozen, fuzzy screwdriver. Grapefruit vodka, oj, seltzer, shaved ice. It's fucking delicious.

Legit, the only downside I see to the ACA is that it's harder to get in with a doctor. I had this issue in 2014, when we changed insurance providers after our company was sold, and the only network in the COUNTY that we could use wasn't accepting patients for like 6 months. I got hassled at the walk-in clinic because I didn't have a primary care doctor. No shit, that's why I'm here! No one will fucking see me but you.

I thought waiting almost 2 months was bad. Maybe I should retract my complaint. 

The nurse or whoever I spoke to at my gyno's office on the phone asked me what happened to my other PCP. I told her I've been seeing her for over a year my thyroid is still not stabalized (sp). Plus she doesn't seem like she knows what she is doing and I am not comfortable with her. I really don't think I can deal with the old PA anymore. I have to feel like I am making some progress.
