If you're in Canada Sobeys has a baby program where TTC and new moms can get 2 years free PNV. They are pretty well equivalent to most of the brand name OTC PNVs. I take them and a dha gummi.

Another vote here for the Nature Made +DHA. They're giant, but I've never had any problems with them. I just take them after breakfast and keep a few in my purse in case I forget.
I take Rainbow Light Prenatal Petites because I'd rather take three small pills than one big pill. I haven't had any issues feeling sick on them or anything (besides turning my pee neon green). I then take Coromega Omega 3 Fruit Gummies for the DHA.

I take a prescription pill because of zero co-pay. It's called Vol-Plus, and it's an enormous horse pill so I'm not sure how well it would do with nasua of any degree. I've had the vita-gummies too and like those a lot.

I also take the Rainbow Light Prenatal One. I still have to take it after food because I've always had a sensitive stomach to vitamins, but it's a lot easier on my stomach than anything else has ever been. I also don't think it has that typical vitamin taste.
heatherj9603 - I've found them at Target and CVS so far but I'm thinking of starting to order from their company online so I can buy their DHA too.
I just changed from the naturemade with dha to one a day with dha. I changed because the OAD had biotin in it and I am also trying to grow my hair... So, yeah. Also, I think it has a few more things in it than the Naturemade. I have noticed a slight energy increase after the switch. I take mine at night due to stomach upset, it makes me nauseous as hell when I take it in the day.
I take Garden of Life organic prenatals. They have ginger in them which seems to keep my super sensitive stomach at bay. I do sometimes have a hard time remembering to take 3 a day, but the smaller dose also keeps me from being less queasy.

I take Rainbow Light One - they also don't really upset my stomach and I really like them. But I had no idea that was what was changing the color of my pee!! I just thought my body was constantly dehydrated no matter how much water I drank.
Switched to Rainbow Light and love that they're food based with probiotics. I can take them on an empty stomach.
+1 on this! I was on Nature Made + DHA and it once made me puke in the shower because I didn't eat enough. Trust me, you don't want to puke up fish oil.
Now I take Rainbow Light One and a separate little DHA pill at night. Much easier to swallow, and because they're full of probiotics, they are very easy to digest and cause absolutely no constipation.
I used to take Natures Made, and I switched to Natures Bounty recently simply because they were on sale. The pills are the exact same shape and color. I don't find that either has any taste at all.

I switch back and forth between the target up and up brand and similac prenatal. No bad taste, aren't giant (I throw up pills very easily), and aren't expensive.
I don't take prenatals until pregnant. They don't meet my calcium or vit A needs and have more iron than I need. So I take a regular women's multi and otc Folgard (B-Vit supplement with a lot of folic acid and the necessary supporting b vitamins to keep it all in sync). Recommended by my Ob because I have MTHFR and don't process folic acid normally. When I am pregnant, I'll switch to target pre-natal + DHA + Folgard.
I also have MTHFR what is the brand name on your OTC folgard? My OB literally dropped dead in December and I have not started going to the only other one I have to choose from at my hospital. 1st OB was doing research on what to put me on. He told me to take the baby ASA daily but he hadn't got back with me on the PNV yet. So I'm going to have to start all over with new Dr. It is times like this that I wish I didn't live in a completely rural area. No RE closer than over hour drive for me.

It's still Folgard. There is an Otc version and a prescription version, which has even higher amounts of the vitamins. I'm heterozygous, so my peri felt comfortable with the otc version. You can also replicate it with individual components of b6, b12, and folic acid if you need to. I also do baby aspirin daily, though they told me last time it was up to me whether to continue or not, they didn't care. Iirc, I did for about 18 weeks and then felt comfortable stopping. I also try to leave at least six hours between green tea and vitamins, to be safe.

I'm homozygous wit A1298C I guess I just need to break down and find a RE even if it is that far away. Thanks.

+1 for Rainbow light. On a side note they have different versions of their prenatal vitamin so just make sure you read the label. I accidentally bought the 3 a day ones and hated it. They also have a higher priced all in one version for $25-$30 depending on where you buy and a grocery store version for $10. I can't find a difference so I buy the $10 ones from target or wal-mart.
DHA- For vegans or anyone who hates fish oil I would recommend Ovega-3 DHA+EPA. It's made from algae the original source of omega 3's. Its amazing and has no bad taste or smell, although its a bit pricey.

Yeah, homozygous is a different ball game. MTHFR, indeed. I can go back and check the amounts for you if you want to replicate, but if you just want a filler until you can see the RE, I think you can order on Amazon. I just did the constituent parts the last go round, and it worked out ok.
