LO Age(s): 2 1/2 and 3 weeks Best part of the week: Sexy times with DH Saturday night. Worst part of the week: Trying to take the dog for a walk with DD in the carrier and DS wanting to explore everything, meanwhile DD is franking out crying and the dog is pulling my arm off trying to run across the street to play with the other dogs on walks Milestones: the three week growth spurt is upon us - wish me luck QOTW: This past week I organized a bunch of delivery services - dry cleaning, groceries - and did online shopping - Walmart, David's tea - so i don't have to attempt shopping with both kids. This week I plan on dying my roots and painting my nails - prep for (FX) newborn photo shoot on Saturday.

LOs Age(s): 2 weeks, 4 days
Best part of your week? We're having a little bit more success with breastfeeding.
Worst part of your week? I tried exclusively pumping for two days and it sucked. I was having such a hard time figuring out to do everything that I needed to do (feed E, pump, clean bottles and pump parts, feed myself...). I was pretty miserable and so overwhelmed.
Milestones? Not really milestones but - E lost most of his cord stump and he's doing such an awesome job with tummy time!
PIP those kiddos!
QOTW: Since we're not JUST mamas, what is something you did for yourself this week and something you plan to do for yourself next week? I didn't really do much for myself, but I have showered every day. I really want to paint my toenails. A pedicure would be awesome, but I don't think that I can afford it.
Already Mommies (congratulations to all our new mommies)
LOs Age(s): 4 weeks
Best part of your week? Catching up on some sleep!
Worst part of your week? I kind of got into a depressed slump. Hoping it was just a freak thing. I feel better today
Milestones? Knock on wood... we seem to have a schedule at night now (most nights). Feed between 10:30-11 them to bed which sometimes is fast and sometimes takes an hour. Then we are up around 4 or 5 for another hour or so and then sleep until about 9. I'll take it!
PIP those kiddos:
QOTW: Since we're not JUST mamas, what is something you did for yourself this week and something you plan to do for yourself next week? Not a thing and no plans this week either. I'm lucky to get a shower every other day!
Already Mommies (congratulations to all our new mommies)
LOs Age(s): almost 3 wks
Best part of your week? We switched my oldest to full day preschool for when she goes on Monday and Tuesday. Now my husband can drop her off and it takes some stress off of me for those two days . I just have to pick her up when my other daughter wakes up from nap. One less breakfast, snack and lunch to make. And only have to deal with 2 kids napping instead of 3.
Worst part of your week? How do I pick which event was the worst...I think we're dealing with the 3 week growth spurt? He's starting to be awake more and has a hard time winding down for nap after his long awake times. And more fussy/gassy and eating more. Hoping he sleeps really good tonight after all his awake time and nursing today. Fri night all 3 kids were up at various times throughout the night spanning from 12-7. Not very much sleep for me and my husband so I was rather grumpy this weekend. And our dryer is broken so I had to wash 2 loads and hang them up to dry- not fun.
Milestones? More awake times and working on tummy time. Seems to enjoy play mat.
QOTW: Since we're not JUST mamas, what is something you did for yourself this week and something you plan to do for yourself next week? Put on real clothes when we went to a Best Buy to pick out new washer and dryer. Not sure what I'll do this coming week.
Best part of your week? Breastfeeding is getting a little easier
Worst part of your week? We had some really rough nights and I feel like a terrible mom sometimes.
Milestones? First stroller walk with B and our dog (disaster, but we survived). First outing with just B and me.
PIP those kiddos!
QOTW: Since we're not JUST mamas, what is something you did for yourself this week and something you plan to do for yourself next week? I shower occasionally. Last night I asked H to be on baby duty until he went to bed so I could sleep. This week I hope to nap more when baby naps and sexy time with H.
shannjohnston I feel you on the family walk. That was tough and I only have one tiny human. When does roller derby start?
milagros315 I'm so glad feeding is going better for you! Just a suggestion about pumping - you don't have to wash the parts every time you use them. Toss then in a Ziplock bag and into the fridge. That keeps them fresh for 24 hours. Then, you only have to wash every 3 or 4 pumping sessions.
heidih21 I feel you on the depressed slumps, I get them really bad in the middle of the night. Hoping this week is a little smoother. Just remember: one day at a time. It's all we can do.
wahooMOM13 wow. You had a tough week. Lots of hugs and enjoy your new washer/dryer. Let us know how things go with your daughter doing full day preschool!

Thanks @saiven! I used my home scale to get a rough estimate of his weight and I *think* he gained almost half a pound this week so I'm feeling a little more confident. And I did hear about the zip lock bag trick! Now I'm just pumping overnight and washing in the morning. So much easier!
I'm glad that BFing is getting easier for you too! It's such a relief, right?

Derby starts for me whenever I'm feeling up to it! My team started back at practices after New Year's and I'm hoping to go to practice this coming Friday.
@saiven that first month is so tough with BFing and all the night wake ups! It's hard to not feel frustrated when you're so tired and baby is giving you a hard time. Hang in there- you're doing great . Good luck with sexy time! I hope it goes well . I'm not even trying that til 2+ months haha

LOs Age(s): 3 weeks and 2 years
Best part of your week? Seeing how sweet DS is with DD and also getting a 6 hour stretch of sleep.
Worst part of your week? Evenings are rough. She screams and screams for hours.
Milestones? None that I can think of.
QOTW: Since we're not JUST mamas, what is something you did for yourself this week and something you plan to do for yourself next week? I've been having a drink now and then. Usually when both kids are napping, however I've also been trying to take advantage of that time for sleep.

She really liked it! She thinks it's cool to eat lunch there with the other kids and to nap there and then they get to play until pickup time. It made my day way less stressful. Lunch and naps are always so hectic coordinating that and keeping baby happy. Plus she only naps for about an hour so I'm lucky if I can catch a 30 min cat nap if all 3 are sleeping. Today I got a 1.5 hr nap! Yay for Mondays and Tuesdays!
Apparently I'm super un observant because I just now found the link to this board!!
LOs Age(s): 5 weeks 1 day
Best part of your week? Lots of snuggles with my little guy!
Worst part of your week? Easton has been pretty congested which has been hard.
Milestones? He turned one month old last Thursday! It is very bittersweet. We also started using size 1 diapers instead of newborn.
PIP those kiddos!
QOTW: Since we're not JUST mamas, what is something you did for yourself this week and something you plan to do for yourself next week? Hmm...does a long shower count?! Ha! I would really like to do my nails at some point this week.
backseatdriver I'm very jealous of your 6 hour stretch of sleep (though I know your LO didn't make it easy on you). We have the nighttime crying thing going on too.
christeng87 welcome! A long shower totally counts as time for you. Nails are just a bonus.
