I'm kinda sad now because I just realized I don't have a hobby. I'm pretty busy but that's no excuse. I do enjoy baking here and there. I also enjoy candy making with chocolate candy molds. I usually bake some cupcakes and package some candies during holidays and special occasions. Since valentines day is coming up I'll be preparing some goodies for my coworkers.
I definitely consider running a hobby and think it would be great for you! I know my mom and sister really like Sudoku. I was going to suggest blogging, but you are already a pro at that, it seems
Maybe if you don't find a hobby you can do some volunteering? Just a thought.

Does sleeping count? Working 12 hour night shifts and going back to school doesn't leave much time for anything else. Hopefully when I graduate in June I can do some of my Pinterest projects

Is pinteresting a hobby? Cuz I'm awesome at that. So my biggest hobby is pinning stuff about hobbies I would like have. I do like to crochet though, I'm finishing up a baby blanket for my best friend who's due in March. After that I'm going to learn how to work my seeing machine
Baking and cake decorating is my main passion. Still trying to master the buttercream rose, which is much harder than it looks. I've had a pretty easy time learning most of the other piping skills, mainly cupcakes and cake borders. Cooking in general is very relaxing for me. I love trying new recipes all the time so if you have any good ones, I'd like to see them.
Lately I've been trying to learn how to knit but it has reduced me to tears ever single time. It is so infuriating. I managed to cast on and get one row before I ended up with so much excess yarn I said "Fuck it". If you have any tutorials, I could definitely use them.
Other things I enjoy include binging on Netflix, video games, and reading comic books.
I love cooking & baking too (esp baking)! I just don't do it nearly as much these days. I would love to get back into it more. Pies are my thing.
Please dear lord, send me a pie recipe lol every time I try to make a pie crust I end up cursing and driving to the grocery store to buy a tender flake. I do love baking other things like cakes and muffins though. Also - I saw that someone mentioned geocaching - so cool! There's one like 200 yards from my house apparently but i haven't been able to find it yet

Right now I knit (I have a goal to make a handmade item for at least every female in our families for next Christmas. It's going slowly), and I crochet snowflakes, I read and write. I've done counted cross stitch and needle work in the past, and I enjoy it, but don't have a good set-up for it at the moment (hurts my neck).
Exercise in any form is something I keep trying and continue despising, but alas, it's good for you.

I personally love figure skating. I feel a huge sense of accomplishment when I learn each new thing.
If I had the chance I'd love to take pottery, stained glass, sculpture, glass blowing (anything art related), as well as anything physical activity related like aerial yoga, rhythmic gymnastics, parkour, more ballet.
I knit, cook and garden in warmer months. I consider them hobbies because it's something I do for fun and relaxation. I had previously tried scrapbooking when I was in middle school but it only lasted a few years because I'm not very creative.

I'm all over scrap booking. It's great for keeping your mind occupied. I also am on a low carb baking kick tonight we had coconut chocolate ganach pie. Last years garden lacked so I am hoping this summer I can pick up doing that again. Hiking also used to be my favorite hobbie so I would like to start that again as well.

I love to read, watch Netflix, and cook/bake. I am slightly addicted to nail polish. DH and I also play a lot of video games. When I graduate in June I'd love to get back in with my personal trainer doing high intensity interval training and weight lifting. I loved how I felt, even when I hated burpies.

I like learning a little graphic design on my own. I designed our wedding invitations and programs (and I think they turned out cute, I asked for solid opinions haha). Gardening, cooking, and baking are my other faves. I love learning how to do new things like decorating ornate cookies, using fondant, etc.
Tennis is my favorite hobby at the moment. I also enjoy working out in the gym or taking classes. I used to scrapbook a lot but bringing all of the stuff to Angola is a pain in the ass so I'm thinking of switching to digital. I have tons of catch up to do though so that keeps me from getting started.
I started learning to sew when I moved here but they neighbor who was teaching me moved away and I haven't touched my machine again. I really would like to learn more basic stuff and to make a quilt.
For the people that crochet did you find it easy to learn? I've been thinking of giving that a try once I can buy the supplies.
I do counted cross stitch. It is great for keeping my mind occupied
I tried counted cross stitch years ago. I gave up when I picked too complicated of a project. I was in high school then so it was a strange hobby for someone that age anyway.
My current hobbies are reading and crossword puzzles. Sleeping is also a favorite.
I'm also a couponer. Although, that's been more a lifestyle adjustment than a hobby. I was surprised to find that clipping coupons is very relaxing to me.
I crochet, play video games, read, traveling, and going for outdoor walks/hikes. I have been scrapbooking very recently because I had a lot of ticket stubs and stuff from our trips and needed a place to put them, so I'm printing some of our trip photos and making some memory books. I don't really do scrapbooking, but I do like to organize my little memory scraps into one place. Lol.
DH and I love doing DIY projects together (we just finished our new bed frame and headboard- I'm on love!) Individually, I like playing soccer (local women's league), doing photobooks (I do a year in review book annually), I'm trying to learn to sew, reading and I do all our budgeting/financial planning. I'd love to pick up photography, but time isn't on my side and its $$$.
I want to do this! I keep saying I'm going to, sort out all the digital pics, then never order the books.
I won't lie, it takes forever to sort them and make the book, but it's soooo worth it. I've got annual books dating back from 2006 onward, plus specific ones for our wedding and my DD's baby book.
I love cooking & baking too (esp baking)! I just don't do it nearly as much these days. I would love to get back into it more. Pies are my thing.

Ray the secret to pie crust is not to over-handle it. Also, if you use butter (which I don't recommend unless you are an experienced baker), it should be COLD. Also, use cold water. Here is the most basic pie crust recipe:
3 cups flour 1 cup shortening (pinch of salt or sugar if desired) ~1/2-2/3 cup cold water
Cut shortening into dry ingredients with a fork or pastry cutter until mixed well and small, pea-size balls form. Slowly add water, just enough to form larger balls and get dough to start sticking together. Use the fork or pastry cutter as long as possible. Only handle at the last second to pull together. Add more water, a tablespoon at a time if too crumbly. Divide in two equal parts. Place on a floured surface and roll out. **This makes a double crust, cut recipe in half for a single, or freeze 1 crust for later use.
There are many variations on this recipe. My favorite uses half shortening and half real butter. It makes a tastier, flakier crust IMO, but working with butter is significantly more challenging to master, as it warms up quickly when handled. I also sometimes add a teaspoon vanilla and/or spices (such as cinnamon or nutmeg) to give my crust a little more flavor. I find the basic recipe a tad bland, but it's quick and (relatively) easy to master.
Baking/cake decorating (that's one of mine in my profile pic)
Cross stitch - this is my current project: (Apologies if it's huge, I'm on mobile)
Knitting - just made a ton of copycat Outlander cowls for Christmas. Have a few others people asked me to make. I love it because it's such an easy pattern.
Theatre - I volunteer for a local community theatre company. I've been with them since Dec 2008, so technically longer than I've been with MH! I would love to be in a musical some day, but auditions make me so nervous. Mostly I stage manage or help with sound, but this year I started producing, and hope to direct one of my favorite musicals ever next winter.

Thanks! I've been working on it on and off for a long time. My goal is to finish it in the next few months, maybe weeks if I can buckle down and make some progress
I play guitar but these last two years since DS was born I've really been slacking. Need to get back into it so when he gets a little older I can teach him.
