Ok, so, panicking. I woke up for my usual 3:30 pee and saw light pink spotting. I know in the rational part of my mind that there are many legitimate non-Doomsday explanations for this, but… MOTN and hormones and PAIF brain. So now I'm completely freaked out and can't fall back asleep. I don't want to tell H because his PAIF brain is worse than mine and he'll panic.
Also, when I crawled back into bed my dog came over and sat directly on my uterus, which I am scared is a sign that she sensed something bad happening in there!
Possible explanation: yesterday I refilled my progesterone suppositories and they're a different brand than usual and they're red instead of white. But what if this brand is no good or they somehow gave me the wrong thing? Should I call the pharmacy? Does that mean I'm going to be spotting (and panicking) for the whole rest of the time I'm on progesterone?
I also feel like I have some light cramping, but not sure if it's real or gas or in my head.
I'm so sorry you are going through this! I've had spotting with two of my pregnancies and I know how scary it is. I hope you can get some rest tonight and your doctor can give you some reassurance tomorrow! I would definitely call the pharmacy to check, so you have peace of mind.

Oh bocaburger, I am so sorry, that scary. I would be freaking out too! If the new progesterone is red it definitely can be from that I would think. I usully discharge some of the colour from the progesterone. But call your dr for sure, for peace of mind. Plus can't progesterone cause some spotting, I would think it is possable that the new brand just irritated you since you were used to the other kind. I hope it is just colouring from the red progesterone! So many hugs lady!!!!

First off ((hugs)). I know how scary spotting can be. I had some on and off the first few weeks after my BFP. I agree with pp 's that its probably from changing meds, could be from the red color, or your recent u/s. I'd say to call your doctor right when they open and ask. Are you just on supps or also on pio?

Oh my! I have no experience with suppositories, but it sounds logical that those could be the cause. I'm hoping that's all it is too. Hang in there Boca hugs.
Sending you so many hugs right now. It might be the change of the progesterone. If it was me, I would call my OB now and see if you can get in to see them and have them check everything out.
So many hugs Boca!! As PPs have mentioned, the casing from the progesterone can easily be confused as spotting (I've done it a few times early on and after carefully examining my underwear or liner, I noticed it was more peachy colored). Just breathe and do what you need for some peace of mind this AM. We'll be here if you need us (and of course waiting for an update)
Huge hugs!! Hoping you're able to talk to the doc soon and they can put your mind at ease! It sounds like there are quite a few okay reasons to be spotting. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!
I'm so sorry you are having a scare. It sounds to me like the progesterone is the likely culprit. I also think spotting is more common with multiples--and it's pretty common even with singletons. I know there is likely nothing we can say that will make you really feel better, but know that we are all here and pulling for you and bocatwins
First, ((hugs)). Second, deep breaths. Third, it sounds like your new progesterone could very likely be to blame. Why the heck would they make them red?!? Fourth, definitely call your doctor for reassurance.

I was wondering this as well!! It seems like a cruel joke. I've only ever been on crinone (which is more of a gel) and now the endometrin (white pills).
Also bocaburger, I've found that sometimes I was a little too aggressive in my insertion and it helped to let it go as long as it would and not try to push it up super far.

Thanks everyone. I'm feeling a lot calmer now. I ended up waking H and telling him and he was so wonderful, he calmed me down enough that I eventually fell back to sleep. I really think the suppositories are the culprit but I'll call the pharmacy and my doctor today just in case.
Glad you are feeling a bit better. So sorry for the MOTN scare! It does sound like it was probably the suppository, but I am by no means an expert. Hope you get some answers soon!

Ok, the nurse called and said she's not concerned about it. I'm supposed to monitor and call back if it gets progressively worse, but otherwise she told me not to worry. PHEW
