First off congrats how close in age are all of your kids gonna be..good luck! We used a rnp for the first 8 weeks and liked it. I prefer the crib but he did the the rnp for the beginning!

Oh wow congratulations!!!!!
We used a bassinet and now the PnP with the top tier and we love it. To be honest I could have done with out the bassinet. I would use the PnP with added blankets under the sheet with a newborn.
Congratulations! We used (and still use) a combo of the PnP and co-sleeping. If I were to do it again I'd get the PnP with the bassinet for the top but we were fine without it.
Wow. Congrats and H/H pregnancy. I also use a PNP. For the first few weeks I used those pool noodles under the sheet to make a little nook for him to sleep in so he would be cozy.
First off- congrats!! I'm very happy for you and your family Second- We used a mini crib. It was the perfect size to fit in our room/her bedroom. They sell them on amazon for pretty good prices.

Extra blankets just for padding or positioning? I've never used a PNP with a newborn (shockingly).
For positioning and I remember LO use to like feeling more snug and not all the extra space for a while

Well, congrats!
We used the PNP the first two weeks. After that, crib. I'm a bit of a minimalist so I didn't want more newborn things that aren't used long.
Can the oldest of the two in the cribs transition to a bed? It seems like that would need to happen soon anyway, if you are trying to avoid three cribs.
Congrats! We had a bassinet to start with but hardly used the thing. If I could do it over again, I would have purchased a RnP or put him in the crib from day one.
We used the RnP for a few weeks then moved DS into the mini arc arms reach co-sleeper. I really liked it because it was roomy and DS liked to sleep with hims arms stretched out.
Congratulations!! We used a bassinet but if I could redo we would have gotten a PnP and used that. Our DD likes to move a lot in her sleep and she would always hit the sides of the bassinet and wake herself up so I think she would have slept better just in the PnP.
OMG August 2014 mom's are picking up the baby making pace! I hope it isn't contagious but CONGRADULATIONS! We used a PnP in our room with extra padding and rolled up towels in a "u" to create a nook. But honestly the first 6 weeks he really only slept in the car seat

Whoa! Congrats! You are very fertile. Gosh, we are only using condoms and now I'm scared. Ha!
We had a graco little lounger. It's very similar to a RNP, but you can adjust it so the "mattress" goes flat. I kept it flat to avoid the hurdle of him getting too used to the incline of something like a rnp. Although, I just saw a rnp type thing that's battery operated and swings, so that could be nice. We transitioned to the crib around 3 weeks and it was the best decision because he's been a great night sleeper ever since.
I was just recently thinking that next time around I might want something a little closer to the height of my bed. Maybe a cosleeper? I definitely remember a few exhausted nights where I probably plopped DS with a little too much gusto into the little lounger to avoid getting out of bed.
We tried the PNP with bassinet and without bassinet, she never slept good in either. We also had a cradle that DH had a kid and she didn't like that either. One night we just tried the crib and she loved it. Slept good ever since!
Congrats on the pregnancy!!! I'm starting to get newborn fever
Congratulations!!! I already told hubs I'm dying for the Halo bassinest with our next one. We had a Co sleeper in the bed but I think this is a much better option. I could pull it over the bed if I want it or just have it right next to the bed.
I'm slightly jealous but also kind of "keep your pregnant cooties to yourself"

Congratulations! (And damn, girl, get yourself an IUD if you don't want any more babies! I don't know what I would do if I had two cribs in use, and one on the way! More power to ya!)
We did a PNP for like a week or two before we put her in the crib. But that was because she wouldn't sleep anywhere, so we figured we might as well. A lot of people like the RNP though.
We did a combo of RNP and Arms Reach Co-Sleeper. Highly recommend both! The arms reach co sleeper buts up to our bed so I don't even need to get up to get her or put her back at night. The RNP we used more early on.

Congrats! Can you move the oldest to a toddler bed to free up a crib (totally agree that 3 cribs seems crazy)? As for the newborn phase we loved the RNP. Do you belong to any local fb mom groups? The ones I belong to are always selling newborn sleep things (rnp, cosleeper etc) which could help keep cost down.
Take time to feel all the feels regarding this little bundle. I'd be completely freaked out too but soon enough you'll start getting excited like your H is. Do you know when you are due yet?
Congrats! We liked the arms reach cosleeper for 2 weeks, then he was in his own room in his crib. I liked not needing to transition ever. I guess Id do the pnp because its the most like a crib.
Congratulations! I can relate to the feelings involved in such a surprise.
We've used an arms reach mini cosleeper with our 3. We were able to use it until 6 months each time. I liked that it was smaller, higher and portable. I did enjoy having the RnP this time, I alternated between them.

Congratulations. How old is your oldest, would then be ready for a toddler bed nine months from now?
We used the bassinet level in the back and play. My plan for next time is just to go straight to the crib in our room. I try not to have too much baby gear.
