I was having more constipation issues, it had been 6 days without a poop this morning. So I took 2 colace. Guess that was a terrible idea because not only did I finally poop but I barfed my brains out at the same time. I know it has to be from taking that because I haven't had a single neaseau or puke this whole pregnancy (11+5). Ugh. Hope you all feel better soon!!
The few times I've taken colace in pregnancy I have puked. Tit for commiseration!
I'm sure I'm dehydrated. I don't know how to fix it though. I can only take small sips of water, and it aggravates my nausea. If I actually take proper drinks, I throw it up.
Have you tried doing a fruit defused or switching to sparkling? What about changing vessels? I can only drink out of glass cups or bottles right now and cold flavored sparkling goes down much better than anything else.
Sparkling water and I had an ugly breakup after the great Christmas Eve pukefest of 2015 (thanks, La Croix!). My best bet is ice ice cold water, from a glass, through a straw. But even then, I can only take small sips. Adding lemon was helping for a while but I think I overdid it with the lemon water and now that makes me queasy too. I'm pathetic, lol

I've been drinking lots of smoothies when I can't keep down water. Jamba Juice and those dole shakers have been my best friends.

I've also been having a lot of smoothies. I'm doing well with fluids but not with fruits/veggies so smoothies are a good way for me to get some nutrients in. I've also been having soup, which is the only way I can stomach chicken.

If you told that to someone whose never experienced aversions in pregnancy they'd probably think you're nuts but I totally get it. good luck:)

This is a good idea! Might get some nutrients into me too ;-)
When I got scary dehydrated with DS2 my MW told me to eat soup. Apparently the sodium in the broth actually helps your body to absorb the fluids? IDK whether that makes sense or not but I took it as an excuse to go to the yummy noodle bowl place

Or pedialyte freeze pops. I've had those during the flu before to replenish electrolytes and hydrate.
I'm having a lot of RLP the last few days. Can't make any sudden movements. I'm kind of getting used to it though and remembering to adjust my movements.

They are probably so bad for you, but my work stocks the Lipton Cup 'O' Soup things for free and as I get increasingly dehydrated in the work day I eventually turn to those. They definitely help over everything else.
I feel like such a wierdo but I just realized that the ONLY symptom I have had the past few days is being extra tired. Which I could turn around and point to the unisom, since I often overreact to sleep inducing meds. So, unisom and b6 working TOO well? It makes me nervous. By this time last pregnancy I was so sick, I had already been to urgent care for fluids once.
Add me to the fraidy-cats due to lack of symptoms. I will feel better after my ultrasound on Tuesday. Just have to get there first!
I have been constipated my whole life so I feel all you ladies with pooping problems. As soon as I found out I was pregnant and was given progesterone, I knew it wouldn't get any better, added to the fact duri g my last pregnancy I would spot most times after going so this time I am just unwilling to push too much. My RE gave me a name of a medicine I can take and it is a miricle worker. It is just a over the counter powder you mix with water. I don't recognize the name to one that could be in the US, but it is worth asking. I am allowed 3 packets a day, and most days I only take one, I have never needed 3. The odd day I don't take any. But trust me if nothing feels better then going for a good poop. Ask your dr ladies for something, its been a life savior for me.
Other symptoms for me are nausea, with out getting sick, and major sleepy, I sleep like 14 hours a day. Its crazy. I too have all the weird feelings with food, hungry but nothing sounds good, and pretty much only not nauseous when I am eating. Sore boobs, really I would say everything except pucking, a few times I wished I could just puke since I feel like it may make me feel better. I think this is the most symptoms I have felt in a pregnancy yet so that makes me feel good at least!

My cramping is back. It's come and gone my whole pregnancy. I had more cramping with DD2 than DD1, and this is more than DD2, so maybe it just increases every pregnancy. I asked the nurse at my last appt and she wasn't worried if there is no spotting. I was used to RLP but the cramping makes me nervous and I wish it would stop!

Miralax. I use it all the time as do my kids. We have poop problems in this family. Lol
misshart00, thats not what mine is called, but if it works why not use it! Could be the same or simular anyway, and it could just be tthat mine is the german name who knows! I am thinking though it is something that I will continue using even after pregnancy! Better then any pill or sofener I have used!

I have Miralax here also. I just mixed it up for my kiddo's breakfast It's Polyethylene Glycol 3350, if you want to compare active incredients, hollyberry.
Fortunately 2 prunes a day have been helping me from backing up. Also agree that constipation is miserable.

It cracks me up though. Two years ago I had a giant tumor, which squished my intestines so badly that the only way I could poop at all was with powerful laxatives. But we tried everything else first. We have more laxatives and poop-fixers in our house than we have any other kind of medicine. But none of them are on the "safe-list" so we had to go buy Metamucil.
