I've used multiple pedometers along the way mostly because I love fitness but also work in physical therapy and I'm happiest with the fitbit!! Our company supplied them for a fitness incentive but I've been more than thrilled, my husband even lost 70# by using it! The calories aren't accurate but steps, and stairs are right on! I had the fitbit one which is the little clip about 1.5" long but my mom just got the wrist one I think called the flex? And I like that better
I got a fitbit in December. I love it and was obsessed pre baby (since then not so much but just started wearing it again). It reminds me to get up and walk and I'm super competitive with myself. I haven't used the calorie feature yet but will in a few weeks.
I have a fitbit one and love it! Well, I loved it back when I wasn't too lazy to use it. Now that this baby has popped out of me I plan on charging it and using it again. I would set my goal for 10,000 steps a day and it really did motivate me to get all my steps in. On a regular work day I only do 4 or 5000 so it actually made a big difference when I would make it to 10,000! It was very accurate. My sister has the model that is sort of like a bracelet and says that it definitely counts extra steps when she moves her arms (which is a lot, she talks with her hands).
I'm wanting to try the Fitbit too but my midwife says hers dies really fast usually at night when it's tracking her sleep and you have to take it off to charge it. I don't know if anyone else has had that problem but it makes me kind of disappointed if it's true.
lexishay you do have to take it off to charge it. I usually charge it once a week overnight. I sometimes use it to track my sleep, but gave up on that during pregnancy because I was up every hour to pee! I think I'd get around 5 days on a charge though, I didn't think it was too bad!

I have a fit bit flex and love it! When we moved a couple months ago, I misplaced the actual tracker, so I'll likely have to buy another one, but when I was using it, it was awesome! I have considered upgrading to the newest fit bit with the watch on it, but it's just not in the budget right now.

Oh good that makes me feel better about getting one. The way she talked she only got a day or so. Thanks for letting me know!
