Guise. Am I the only one irrationally annoyed that the love tit description changes all the time? I am thinking it's meant to be cute, but it bugs me. Silly, I know.
Yesterday, I was all like, "Oh, now we're throwing glitter??"
I like it! I love seeing what the next one will be for the day.
I love that I can get both kids to eat their veggies by making smoothies. Yesterday morning I did orange, carrot and pineapple. The toddler ate it up because it's brightly colored and she thinks smoothies are the best but my oldest won't touch a carrot with a ten foot pole-it was the consistency of a slushy so I told her it was orange ice. She drank every bit of it.
I HAVE to actually work today but I will try and pop in. Hugs to those that need it, rest and feel good vibes to the sickies, and all of you with snow, stay warm!!!
crawford411 this is me today. I'll eventually give up and come back to it in 1.5-2hr increments until I'm no longer miserable.
mrssinner402 My LO does this...or she holds the bottle and tips it up to make the flow faster and makes herself choke and spit up. How fast baby wants it is definitely not how fast she should get it.
applegrape I was thinking the same thing. The most I've ever gotten was 9oz total when LO first slept through the night. It hasn't happened since.
Oookay, I will start working at 9. I know it's cliche, but I'm thinking about getting a little bit of photography equipment so I can take DS's photos myself. My mom got us a nice camera when he was born. Our photographer takes great photos, but her customer service is horrendous.
I think I'd rather save the money in the future and do them myself. I just feel like everyone and their brother decides to take up photography when their kids are born.

Morning all! Am I the only one who didn't watch the game yesterday? I had not plans to watch the game and C decided to "help" me avoid it by taking 3 hours to fall asleep last night. Thanks kid. Pass the coffee.
sabby2 feel better! americanninjamommy, you are queen of the gifs! applegrape good luck with your work madness. erawka boo sleep! Yay snow day! Hope you can get in a nap. dreadgamerwife nope, didn't watch it either because England...if my home state's team woulda been in it, I might've made an effort. But I'm not losing sleep for something I only marginally care about/follow.

I'm not caught up yet, but I am exhausted and I went to bed at 8:30. DS woke up five times last night plus he got his leg stuck in the crib rails and started screaming. Took a long time to get him soothed. Coffee, please.
Eating mini marshmallows out of the bag while I sit here on PB and watch DD sleep.
After my last post, I sat her in her carseat and did my chores since she was fighting a nap and I was getting frustrated. She fell asleep there...don't wake the beast!
Good morning! I have to quit my job today. I'm nervous because it's so final, but I can't even find a sitter for my first week back. And I only take home $900 a month, but I have to work 5 days a week and have an open schedule to be employed there. I think it's ridiculous to need an open schedule to work 20 hours a week, but that's what happens during a recession I guess. I'm stressed out
On a positive note, a union is going to be hiring for surveyors, and my DH started working with a friend of ours who has his own surveying company (he'd never done it before) in July. If they hire you with no experience they start you at $2.50 more than DH makes now, and if they start him at the next level where he should be, he'll get $6 more an hour. If he gets that it'll make up my paycheck. Applications start feb 16. So cross all your crossables for us please!

Who cares if it's cliche. Photography is fun! I don't think you'll regret it.
I have a degree in fine arts (so I took a bunch of photography classes) and DH minored in photography. DH uses it professionally, but I only really use it for the girls now. Regardless, I am positive I've taken pictures another photographer wouldn't have been able to capture because I'm their mother. Plus, you can take them in your own time and when LOs are their happiest. So, there are some advantages. Do it!

I think I'm going to! Thank you for the encouragement!

Also, I got drunk on Friday night and exchanged numbers with a guy at my BFF's get-together. We've met a few times before, he's a singer in an oldies cover band, and he made me laugh.
We went to two last minute super bowl parties. H and I rarely have days alone so we tend to be home more often than not. Plus we're so used to moving around all the time that we have a habit of being in our own bubble. We decided we should probably stop doing that. There was a two week old baby at one of the parties and I was like how much does she weigh? She was 8 lbs but she looked so fucking tiny! HOW CAN THIS BE!? I thought MY baby was tiny! Also I'm taking over the receptionist position at the front of the bank and running all of her reports when she retires and she wants me to sit at her desk for her last month and practice. Practice what? Greeting people and answering the fucking phone?!? I think I can wing that thanks...
