You guys - i might hit DH. He's had a cold for like a week and a half. I need his help and he treats me like I'm nagging him to call the dr or take meds. Sure, he is definitely showing "man cold-itis" but I think he does legit feel like crap. So DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
I called my insurance company to see about the process for a new breast pump. So now I'm trying to decide which one I want. I've had a Medela Freestyle, but it broke, I also have used a Medela PISA...but have had supply problems and don't respond well to a pump. I'm thinking of going with a Spectra S2, I've never heard of one before...it's a hospital grade pump with a closed system and is supposedly good for sore nipples. Does anyone have personal experience with the Spectra?

I just got this onesie on sale from Baby Gap. DH and I are avid hikers. We haven't made a social media announcement yet, but I'm sorta thinking of using this as a prop. I pretty much only post photos of mountains on Facebook, so it seems appropriate.
I am so anxious for my ultrasound tomorrow. I've been super productive at work trying to keep myself distracted. My poor fur baby cracked her nail and it's so deep they have to sedate her to cut it back. I pick her up in a couple hours and she is going to get snuggled like crazy.
Mine is tomorrow as well. I've been so impatient to get to the day and make sure everything is ok, but now that I'm less than 24 hours away I'm incredibly anxious. FX we both have uneventful, reassuring appointments tomorrow!

So sorry, Andrea. If you like anecdotes, the same happened to me. I failed the one-hour, but just barely like you, and then passed the three-hour. The waiting and the not eating for three sucked, but hopefully you'll have the same result!

Thank you!! This is what I needed to hear tonight. I love you guys!
Thanks friends. The cut off is 140, my level was at 146 so it isn't the worst. I am trying not to beat myself up about it.
Speaking as someone who failed the 1 hour so badly they didn't even have me do the 3 hour I just want to chime in that it wasn't so bad. I mean fingers crossed you pass the 3 hour bit of you don't you will still be fine. I was told I failed so badly I would need insulin blah blah but in reality i managed fine with just controlling diet and testing numbers. So don't beat yourself up or get too discouraged. Upside is at the end you get a bunch of ultrasounds to check your fluid levels and baby size so I got tons of peeks at DD

I feel like we would be friends IRL. I love the mountains. I hope PP I feel well enough to get out and enjoy them. Between new job in July and studying last summer we didn't get out nearly as much as I would have liked. I'm also feeling the urge to go out and snowboard but I'm too paranoid.
