I haven't written my birth story yet, but Minette Kathleen was born on 2/11 at 12:39 pm via semi-emergency C section at 35weeks 2days. She was 5 pounds 9 ounces and 18.25 inches long. She spent 6 days in the Nicu and was under bilirubin phototherapy for 2 of those days.
She came home on 2/17 at 6 days old and is doing amazing. She's on a great feeding and sleeping schedule. We are working on breastfeeding and I pump, so she's getting mostly breast milk with a little formula supplementation (leftover from the time in the hospital). Every day I am more in awe of the beautiful person I made.
Our baby girl was born today 2/25 at 12:04 pm. She is 6 lbs, 9 oz, 20 inches, and did NOT want to come out. They started the induction on 2/24 at 1:30pm, so basically i labored for 23 hours. I thought the third baby would come out so much faster! I lasted until about 11:30 this morning without the epi but i couldnt take any more and without knowing how much longer i had to go, i asked for the epi. Problem was that it was too late - i ended up pushing the baby out and i felt EVERYTHING. It was all worth it. She is beautiful. Dh and i are so happy. DS1 and DS2 cannot wait to meet her tomorrow!!

Baby Rose was born yesterday at 5:05 pm. Weighed in at 6 lbs. 11 oz. Labor was pretty quick once things got going, probably 7 hours from first painful contractions to birth. She is beautiful and amazing and perfect. I'll try to post my birth story this weekend after some rest and lots of baby and toddler cuddles. I've missed DD1 so much while in here!
Baby girl is here on her due date. Started feeling contractions around 3:20a, woke H an hour later and went to hospital and mom came to watch kids. Took a while to get things going but once we got real labor under way it was about 5 hrs. So Miss Emmalyn is a "Leapling". Born 3:38pm. She's a peanut at 6lbs 10oz and 20.5" She latched on like a champ and made 2 big poops already while getting assessed in nursery. Now we're just waiting for big sis and bro to get here to meet her!!
Hi, ladies, sorry it's taken a while for me to write this. We spent 4 days in the hospital waiting I my levels to fall.
Td;lr William James was born at 35w4d on Feb. 24 at 9:32 pm via C-Section, weighing 6lb6oz and 18.5 inches.
On Wednesday at my monitoring appointment, I was sent to OB triage to get labs in real time. My last draw had my enzymes up over 300.
H and I had kind of foreseen this would be it and we packed a bag to be safe. Good thing we did, my labs came back at over 900. They had tripled. The nurse hedged around the actual number and I knew when they wouldn't let me eat that my doc had made a decision. Thus began the longest day of my life. My doc didn't make it to see us til after 5pm. My last meal had been at 7 am. By this point I was beyond hangry and heading into murder. He came in and told me his plan. I asked about the possibility of an induction, but with how my enzymes were rising, he didnt recommend it. Induction would have taken days. After that, things seemed to move very quickly and very slowly at the same time. I got prepped and ready for the section. As time drew closer, I got more and more nervous, PGAL brain rearing its ugly head one last time.
C-sections feel very weird and it was crazy to be awake and talking to H while we waited for the baby. Then the most beautiful sound ever. His cry. My doctor said, "Good Lord look at those cheeks!" as he pulled him out. I cried the second I heard him and couldnt stop. In recovery we did skin to skin and his first BF. He latched like a champ and no one believed he was a 35 weeker. We were very blessed he didn't have to go to NICU. Since being home it's been hard. Because he is so young, he sometimes forgets how to BF. We were EP for about a day and a half. Now I can get one good feeding out of him before I have to EP. But, I wouldn't trade any of it. Our beautiful baby boy is worth every tear of frustration.

Baby girl #3 (still no name haha) was born at 432pm and weighs 7lbs 10oz. They started pitocin around 9am, I dilated from 5-10 in an hour, and pushed once without tearing. My doctor's shift ended at 5, so I'm super happy she was able to deliver baby.
I'm trying to get some rest tonight, I'm expecting visitors tomorrow, and hopefully we will have a name by then.
Eliza Jane was born at 2:34 pm on March 1st. She was 5 lbs 15 oz and 19.5 inches long. She came at 38w4d, one day earlier than her sister. The same OB delivered both girls and in the same room too! The placenta was small and had some calcification so that's why she didn't grow much the last few weeks but she is very healthy. I was in labor for 11-12 hours (16-17 hours with my first) and it only took about 5 minutes of pushing. Thankfully no tearing this time.
Thomas Ronald (we think, still deliberating) was born at 3:45 pm this afternoon. He weighs 7 lbs 7 oz and is 20 inches long. It was a relatively easy induction with no complications. I'm sore but no tearing and he ate really good right away.

Colin Eric was born 2-27-16 at 12:22 pm. He weighs 7 lbs 13 oz and is 20 1/4 in long. My labor started at 4 am, we got to L&D at 5:30. I got an epi at 7:30 when I was 8 cm. They had to re-administer it later because the tubing that delivers it wasn't working and it wore off(ouch). After they fixed it I pushed for 1 1/2 hrs, which didn't feel like long at all. My regular OB wasn't on call so he was delivered by another doctor who I also really liked. He aspirated meconium so I wasn't allowed to nurse him for several hours but we did have awesome skin to skin. I cried like crazy when he came out and started crying, it was an indescribable feeling of joy and accomplishment. About 2 hrs later they tried to get me up to pee and I started to hemmorage, cue entire medical staff on that floor and the most painful uterine massage of all time. They got it under control and I didn't need a transfusion but we did stay and extra night in the hospital for monitoring. Colin is doing awesome, eating a lot and has a strong (but shallow) latch. I tore in 2 places and I think it is moderately bad but I haven't wanted to look. I'm still on pain meds a week later and it is still painful when they wear off. Overall it was a really good experience and I can't believe he's really here!

Birth story: started having contractions again around 2:30 am, went downstairs to watch TV and figured they would go away. They got stronger and closer together so when DH woke up at 7 I told him this was it (ctx were 1.5 minutes long, 6 minutes apart). We both showered and got to the hospital shortly after 9. They said I was 5 cm and admitted me. I begged for an epi but had to get a bag of fluids first. After the bag of fluids (around 11 or 11:30) the anesthesiologist came and placed the epi. The nurse said the on call doc was delivering at a different hospital but once she got here she would break my water and check me. As the nurse walked out I shouted after her that my water broke, she checked me and I was complete, and I had to wait for the back-up on call doc (who thankfully lives 3 blocks away). My epi wasn't all the way kicked in but the doc showed up and in 3 or 4 pushes she was out!

Cla.ra Fai.th was born Saturday, April 2nd at 1:01pm, four days overdue. 8 lbs 7 oz, 21.5 inches almost a full pound bigger than my other kiddos. I actually went into labor on my own for the first time which was unexpected and crazy. Labor ended up being much longer than expected at around 17 hours from when contractions really picked up and we thought we should head in.
I started working on a birth story MOTN last night then finally got to go to sleep. Will post when I finish. I have found myself going back and rereading my birth story for DD on the dump many times so I'm excited to have this one written down somewhere easily accessible as well.
