He's 38, a historian, a fabulous cook and great with our baby. He helps around the house lots and loves to read and likes video games. He's also an avid traveler and likes swimming.

Mr. ilovelucyv is 32.

His hobbies are gardening and landscaping. He loves cutting down trees- Our backyard used to look like a jungle and now it is pretty bare.

He wears suits during the week but on the weekends he dresses like he is homeless- think 10 year old t-shirts with holes in them and these sweatpants that are supposed to look like jeans.

His job is pretty boring, very technical- writing policy, memos on the policy, training on the policy, and then training trainers on the policy.

He is very outgoing, the "everyone's best friend" kind of guy, which is the polar opposite of me. He is helpful around the house and with the kids most of the time. However, the guy has a big ego. He is the kind that thinks he can do no wrong and everything is always someone else's fault. I consider this the fault of his parents who to this day still act like he is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Getting him to apologize for anything is near impossible. Since he and I are so different, we are pretty good at balancing eachother out most of the time, but sometimes there are power struggles between us as well.

DH will be 30 in March. He owns a body shop. It's super stressful on him but he handles it well. He loves baseball and watches way too much football on tv. He enjoys watching pretty little liars with me but that's about it. He loves being a dad, but isn't much help at night when needed. He drives me crazy by calling just to talk for 5 secs. He has a brother and step sister. He would give the shirt off his back to help someone. He is a much better person than me.

Mr. Erbear will be 31 on feb 10th!

He's a graphic design professor and does freelance design on the side.

He was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at 2 months and thankfully he's pretty heathy. I most admire his drive and determination and how, even though he's "sick", he never uses it as an excuse.

He sometimes works too much, but he does it with good intentions. He really wanted me to be able to stay home with LO and he's picked up a ton of freelance work to make extra money. He's working towards tenure and so he's always at events at his university which is an hour away. He's being honored by the city he works in, though, for his efforts! He's a total do-gooder and involved in changing the city and university for the better.

I wish he was a bit more thoughtful when it came to gifts and a little more aware of messes at home, but I can't complain too much. He takes care of us financially almost 100% and he is always rubbing my feet, playing with my hair, letting me sleep in on weekends, and telling me how beautiful I am. I'm pretty damn lucky!

My SO is almost 35. He's a big kid in a lot of ways- he'd eat pizza and play video games all day if he could. But he has a huge heart and is really intelligent. I love talking to him about social and political issues because he's informed yet open minded.

We're super different in most ways. He's introverted, I'm extroverted. He's moody, I'm fairly even keeled. He's careful, I throw caution to the wind. As others have mentioned, this makes things interesting AND difficult.

Best thing about him is that he's open to change and a pretty good communicator. I feel like when we work at it our marriage gets better and better. Also, he's very giving in bed

ETA: he works in middle management at a nonprofit. He hopes to stay home once I get a better job. He's never really been passionate about his job.

D is 30. He is a grain farmer and a semi driver. He leaves early in the morning and doesn't get home until late.
He is shy and doesn't talk much unless he's known you for years.
He can be a pain in my ass most days but he is good to me and B. He works hard so I don't have to. Farming is stressful for he tries not to worry me with it.
He enjoys anything outside. We own snowmobiles, quads and a boat. He love fishing and is an avid hunter.

DH will be 41 in March but we joke is really like a 12 year old. Loves the color purple (not the movie but the actual color). Rides his motorcycle most of the time (he has heated gear so he really does ride a lot). He used to fence and even taught ballroom dance briefly in college. He likes working with his hands and doing crafty things (loves a good project). He loves things to be customized (so his motorcycle has a custom paint job, when we got DS a wooden sword from RenFaire he had to make him a sheath for it). He does fairly good with helping around the house but can also be oblivious to clutter. Probably his biggest fault is having to have the last word. He is also quite loquacious and tries to drive his point harder.

My SO will be 30 in Aug. he loves to clean and cook (good cause I'm a slacker) he LOVES planes. He works two jobs and loves a good cheesy joke. He is normally In an excellent mood, but when he gets made - he gets mad. I love him. He's good with V and very supportive!

Mr. Monogrammed is 27, tall, tan, and dark haired guy. He is a cable tech during the day and loves to watch (and play) baseball. He's part of a co-ed rec league for softball in the summer/fall and usually if I can't find him in the house he's fishing at the pond behind us.

One of my favorite things about him is his ability to make friends and fit into any situation. He's very easy going like that:) He's also really focused on making me feel appreciated and loved. Love that man!

Some of my least favorite things are when he leaves his random stuff all over the kitchen counters, pretends not to hear the monitor early morning, and eats the last of something and doesn't put it on the shopping list to replace it;) We're working on parenting expectations too- just because she's in a mommy phase right now doesn't mean he can't help a little more!

He just turned 46. 6'0, 210, brown hair, green eyes, crazy awesome dimples

He looks very unassuming, blue collar but comes from an ivy league family and is one of the smartest people I've ever met. He has a BS in engineering and an MA in English. He was a middle school teacher for several years and then was a text book editor for five years, doing mostly advanced science books. Right now he's bartending at a restaurant until P is in kindergarten and then plans to go back to teaching.

He plays disc golf, loves jam bands, all things mountains, sailing, animals, football, and beer.

He's painfully extroverted and talks to everyone, everywhere we go. Extremely liberal politically and has a hard time keep it to himself. He sometimes comes off as sounding really condescending sometimes but actually has a huge heart and would never wish anyone ill will or put people down intentionally. He was absolutely made to be a dad. I wish we'd done this 15 years ago so we could have more together.

H is 30, I guess he's closing in on 31 soon too!

He is a vice principal. We met because he got a teaching job in my hometown. He came to the right place at the right time and has quickly advanced in his career!

He is really good to us. He is very animated and funny and easily makes friends. He's a bit of a nerd, haha, I mean, he was a science teacher who majored in physics leading up to his vice principal position. He loves being involved with things, we both do dinner theater together when our town does one, he's always the designated announcer for his school's pep rallies because he gets right into it, and really doesn't have a shy bone in his body.

He is so forgetful. It drives me crazy! We are also both oldest children and I feel that both connects us and also pits us against each orher sometimes-we both like things being done our way and it's sometimes hard to admit when the other person is right. He is also the kind of person who reacts big and then holds a grudge, I'm more of a let it slide kind of person. So sometimes we don't understand each other's reaction to conflict.

Mr. Jillywilly is 36, tall, hazel eyes, and super funny. He's an amazing dad, and I love watching him with DS - yesterday he was amazing handling him all day while I was busy dying, so grateful for that.

He loves soccer and playing video and board games. He works as a database analyst for one of the big three. He's an amazing cook, and enjoys preparing new delicious meals on the weekend, which works out really well for my love of food in general. He can be short tempered and kind of messy, but nobody's perfect (and I have to say, he's pretty close!)

Oh, I love seeing and learning about all your SO's.

We've had a rough couple of weeks with a cold and no sleeping, so I've been slipping back into lurker mode. Jumping in here!

Mr. Candylandycane is 36. He's 6ft and average build. I would describe him as a quiet observer. He is athletic and loves all sports.

He's in hospital management and works 12+ hours most days. I love how driven and hardworking he is, but sometimes hate the long days alone with DD.
He has awesome leadership skills and very confident. He is extremely honest (almost to a fault). Also, very logical and analytical. Romance is not his strong suit.
I can always depend on him and he NEVER complains about anything.
He is not a handyman by any stretch of the imagination and can be lazy on the weekends. I wish he would help more without my prompting. But. He is awesome with DD and I love seeing them together.

Mr. Kemdupuis is turning 31 on January 31. He is 6'4", has brown eyes, brown hair, and is strong. He has the whole "dad bod" thing down, I think.

He has a BS in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and is currently working on his MBA, and is definitely what I would consider a "nerd". He is the program manager at a large steel molding company that works directly with some major car companies (Volkswagen, Mercedes, Nissan). He travels quite a bit for his job, but really seems to enjoy what he does. It can be very stressful at times, but DH thrives.

He loves the Dallas Cowboys, the Boston Redsox, Bruins and Celtics. Some of his hobbies include kayaking, hiking/biking, fixing things, drinking microbrews, golfing, and just hanging out with friends and family. I am slowly but surely turning him into a foodie, but he is a terrible cook.

In general, DH is one of the most kind, patient, and light hearted people I know. He is funny at the right times and makes me feel supported in everything I do. He has a smile that can melt my heart, and is by far, my favorite person on the planet. I don't know what I'd do without him. Perhaps most importantly, he is an amazing dad to B. He loves making him laugh, and is so invested in spending time and making memories with him.

H...lets see. Where do you start when describing a person you are so close to?
He's 39 yrs old. Has a crazy amount of energy for all things active/outdoors. So he snowboards, heli-boards, surfs, skateboards ( yea he still skates and he is 39) road bikes, mountain bikes, camps, hikes, flyfishes.

He can fix anything. Washing machines, toasters, cars, toilets, bikes. So that comes in handy. In college he drove his roommates crazy by taking his VW engine apart in their living room and repairing it there instead of the garage.

He's a marketing ad writer and magazine editor but he is able to work from home most of the time which is great because we all get to see him a lot. Witty, sarcastic, caring,thoughtful.

Downsides are that he is selfish, moody and stubborn with how he wants to spend his time so if he wants to go ride his bike he needs to ride his bike or else he is a big grump around the house. He also is so sarcastic at times that it can be hurtful. He can be super impatient too when other people can't do things as well as him.

He is a great dad and husband. he definitely pushes me to live life to the fullest at all times because he truly does. His dad died suddenly and tragically when he was a boy so he has shared with me that ability to live and love everyday like it is your last. I love him for this.

DH is almost 36, about 6'4", athletic-ish... He's a pilot trying to figure out what he can do for work that won't take him away from home alot, but still satisfy his need to be in an airplane. He comes from a family of all boys, so his sensitivity is not always where it should be, but he loves to do all the "boy" stuff with DS and is great with him now that he's getting older. He's a little lost on what to do for DD, but he's trying. Other than airplanes, he loves cars, movies and traveling. I will try to find a pic to upload.

Mr. Ashbash is 30

Indian so dark hair, eyes and skin. 6 ft with average build however the ole Dad bod is slowly happening. He works as a govt contractor

Good - the best Dad ever, he is very hands on and from day one has done diapers, feeding, playtime, overnight etc He and I have the same sense of humor and so many inside jokes/ slang. He loved to travel and do home improvement stuff, he also likes geeky computer things.

Bad - his communication skills, his family is terrible with positively and effectively talking to each other so over the past 10 yrs we have worked on it but its still a struggle

MrDee just turned 39. He is about 5'11 and nicely built. Brown hair (getting some grey) and the lightest baby blue eye you'll ever see. He also has an amazing beard.

He is a born athlete. Any sport he tries, he picks up quickly and looks like he has been playing his whole life. He's also one of those freak of nature that can spout off any stat about any player from any sport.

He played baseball from the time he could pick up a bat until he had a career ending injury his junior year of college. Right before his injury he was being scouted by several professional teams.

He is the kindest, funniest man I've ever met. He is THE BEST father I could have ever hoped for for my babies. He is so supportive of me and does his all to take care of me, our baby girl and our pup (who he calls his dogter).

He is not romantic in any sense. I have to ask for it, which then negates it. He is also the MOST competitive person on the face of the planet, and I don't really have a competitive bone in my body, so that can be really challenging sometimes. He also loves to have the final word, and that drives me insane. Oh, and he has one freaking job in the kitchen. Take out the GD trash before it starts to stink. But when he does, he NEVER puts a new trash bag in the bin, and seriously, I'm going to punch him soon because of this. It drives me NUTS!!

But all in all, he makes my world better, and I don't want to imagine life without him. And I am going to AW my 3 favorite pics of him.

Mr. Griffindor is 24 and about 5'11" with brown hair and blue eyes. He also would hate being referred to in real life as Mr. Griffindor due to his hatred for Harry Potter, the grumpy muggle. He grew up on a chicken farm and our longterm plan is to buy the family farm. He works right now as a machinist but has also worked for a construction company at one point. He plays softball in our church league and loves to go golfing. He's a hunter so he is always bringing home squirrels, rabbits, and pheasants to eat (but has been slacking on the venison). He also loves trucks and old cars. He is surprisingly a much better cook than I am. His bad habits include being downright nasty (farting, burping) and not being the best at communicating. I love the man but he has no fashion sense either. However, he is one of the most caring, kind, loyal, giving people I know. He is not a fan of having his picture taken but I whined my way into having him somewhat cooperate for this one.

He loves vintage cars and works for a company that sells vintage corvette parts. He loves the Oakland A's and the GS Warriors. It's constant car shows and sports on our tv.

He's the most impatient person I've ever met and can never make up his mind.

He's very clean. He's very handy. He's the true definition of a partner and helps me bring all of my creative ideas to life.

He's the best dad I could hope for for my baby girl. He trusts me, respects me, believes in me and goes along with all of my 'crazy' ideas without hesitating. He even supports my Tula addiction, case in point:

griffindor24 My H isn't into HP either. We went to see the last movie for my birthday when it came out and we all dressed in HP attire. I bought him a shirt that said Muggle. I wish it had said Grumpy Muggle! LOL

My H is 37, a year younger than me.

He's an electronic engineer by trade. Most of his work these days is in processes. He got fed up of his job because a lot of time was taken up with repetitive processes. He kept telling his bosses that it could be streamlined and everyone would be more efficient, but no-one believed him. He got so fed up that he was on tge verge of leaving so they created a new role for him on a six month trial basis. Three years later he has convinced the entire company that the role is needed and they've employed others to do the same role in different departments.

He is shorter than average height with light brown hair and blue/grey eyes.

He loves trail running but hasn't had time to do much since L was born.

He enjoys learning new things. He's never does any carpentry before, but for Christmas he made L a baby walker.

He's very gregarious and makes friends easily. He smiles a lot and really means it. L seems to take after him - she's much more gregarious and outgoing than I am.

He has always wanted to be a dad and many years ago, not longafter our friendship began, he told me that his favourite name was Laura. He finally has a daughter called Laura :-) He's a great daddy.

His faith is very important to him (to both of us, actually).

He's an extremely good amateur musician. He plays the French horn in the local orchestra and usually conducts the first two or three rehearsals each term. They then bring in a professional conductor for the rest of the term. We have more than forty different kinds of musical instrument. He's already shown L how to blow a trumpet and she got a sound out of it! He also writes music, mostly for a local amateur group who do promenade performances of Shakespeare for two weeks every summer. This year it's The Taming of the Shrew and he's started writing. He will also coach the singers and musicians and perform. I've acted with the same group for six years. This year I will just be in the prologue with L.

He's very considerate of how hard it can be to be at home with the baby. He genuinely believes that I work harder than he does and does more cooking and housework than he used to. He has a tendency to say, with awe, that I don't even get loo breaks and lunch breaks.

His main faults are a tendency to be over-protective, an intense competitive streak and a lack of patience if he doesn't think someone is trying. But he isn't always right about the latter because he doesn't realise quite how exceptionally brainy he is!

This is Mike.

He is a wonderful human being and treats me like a queen. He genuinely values my opinion and is my best friend. He's very loyal to his friends and is friendly, personable and funny but doesn't like being too terribly social.

He provides for our family about 85%. I contribute a little. I really love that he still thinks and tells me I'm very intelligent even though he went to college and I didn't. He always thanks me for everything I do as a mom and a wife so I alwa1ys feel appreciated. It's amazing to see how much of a softy he is for our 7 month old daughter and how much he loves her.

I do wish he wasn't so reluctant to take her by himself when I have something to do for longer than an hour or want to take a nice bath. If he's home from work and I'm not, he'll still take her to his aunt's house so he can "get stuff done around the house" but he always ends up playing video games and napping. I resent him sometimes for acting tired when he naps whenever he wants and even though he gets woken up sometimes at night, he can still close his eyes and relax in a comfortable position while I'm up and nursing and trying to get her asleep enough to put down. I thought I might resent him for having to quit my job as a flight attendant (which I loved so much) because she's a terrible sleeper and he couldn't handle it alone, but it love being home every night. It's been easier than i thought so give it up. I hate that he insists on cleaning while I watch her because he half asses it and thinks he did a great job.

All that aside, he's funny, he knows me so well, I can come to him about anything, he's sweet, charming, responsible, my calm when I'm not, (and visa versa) and i hope he'll keep me for forever.
