How's everyone doing? Physically? Emotionally?
How was your weekend?
Anything new to share?
What was your best moment with your LO(s) this week?
GTKY: I know we're Moms, so "me" time is at a premium, but what is something you love doing when you do get some "me" time?
Accountability Question (option, for those who want to participate...I can make a new thread if everyone would rather): How did you do last week as far as reaching your goal? What is your goal this week and what are you doing to stay on track?

How's everyone doing? Physically? Emotionally? Physically, I am still spotting a week and a half after going off the dang BCPs, so that's frustrating, but I know it takes my body a while to regulate when I go off them, so I'm trying to be patient. Emotionally, I don't know what's wrong with me this week but I think I would forget my head if it wasn't attached. I have lost my purse in public not once, but TWICE this week..it's like I have pregnancy brain without being pregnant...I am pretty frustrated about this, but I don't really know what I can do to fix it
How was your weekend? kinda boring actually- we were supposed to get 4-6" of snow Friday night into Saturday morning, but it kinda fizzled out and we only got about 1"- just enough to make our road and the giant hill out of our neighborhood unsafe- which meant we couldn't go anywhere Saturday but didn't really have enough snow to go out and play in either (we got 3" Wed, so I was basically home bound Wed, Thurs, and Sat last week)
Anything new to share? Nope
What was your best moment with your LO(s) this week? playing out with her in the snow on Wed- she loved it as much as I do
GTKY: I know we're Moms, so "me" time is at a premium, but what is something you love doing when you do get some "me" time? I have taken up crocheting a "temperature blanket"...basically, I created a color scale based on temperatures, and each day for the whole year I'll crochet one row. If I could figure out how to make attached pictures actually show up, I'd attach it, but I can't so you'll just have to use your imagination. It's turning out pretty cool so far, but I'm kind of worried my summer months will be a whole lot of the same color, given the way our weather usually works.
Accountability Question (option, for those who want to participate...I can make a new thread if everyone would rather): How did you do last week as far as reaching your goal? What is your goal this week and what are you doing to stay on track? I did pretty well last week- not a lot of steps because we were snowed in a couple of days, but I ate right and fortunately/unfortunately (cause I love carbs) I was able to loose 1.5 lbs last week just going low carb. It's hard, but obviously worth it so I'll be doing that again this week and hopefully getting out and walking some since the weather is supposed to improve a bit.

How's everyone doing? Physically? Emotionally? I only had a 19 day cycle last cycle, so starting AF caught me off guard last Wednesday and Thursday, which caused me to be emotional for a couple days. I am doing well today both physically and emotionally.
How was your weekend? My weekend was pretty low key. DH was on-call all weekend, so we just hung out at home.
Anything new to share? Nope.
What was your best moment with your LO(s) this week? Early today was fun. I was finally able to get DS dressed in all his snow gear and we went out and played in the snow that we still have left. He loved me pulling him around in his sled.
GTKY: I know we're Moms, so "me" time is at a premium, but what is something you love doing when you do get some "me" time? Lately, when I get me time I've been enjoying catching up on some of the TV shoes I have DVR'd. The other thing I love to do during me time is making puzzles. I haven't done one since DS was born, because there isn't a good space in the house for one.
Accountability Question (option, for those who want to participate...I can make a new thread if everyone would rather): How did you do last week as far as reaching your goal? What is your goal this week and what are you doing to stay on track? I did great meeting my goal last week. I won the workweek challenge I was in with my Fitbit. My goal this week is to continue to get my steps in this week, and to eat at least a combined 4 servings of fruits and veggies everyday this week.

tbonequeen13, so I googled "temperature blanket" to get an idea of the blanket your are crocheting. They are really pretty. I am sure yours will turn out great.
opheliainwaders, sending thoughts and prayers to you as you have your procedure tomorrow. I'm glad you got some good cuddles from your DD Friday.
How's everyone doing? Physically? Emotionally? Physically I'm fine. I'm still waiting for the first AF. Emotionally it has been rough. My Grandmother passed away last week so it just adds to my sadness. I am going to start seeing a therapist next week.
How was your weekend? Weekend was sad, I visited my Grandpa who is pretty torn up.
Anything new to share? Not really.
What was your best moment with your LO(s) this week? I have nothing specific, but she is such a joy. I did accidently teach her to get kisses when she gets hurt, so now she is constantly coming up and asking for kisses. It's super cute, but its constant haha.
GTKY: I know we're Moms, so "me" time is at a premium, but what is something you love doing when you do get some "me" time? Lately, I've been watching Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. I loved the show when I was a teenager. I have also set up a fish tank in my daughters room and am now planning to set up a 55 gallon tank. I'm very excited to do this.
Accountability Question (option, for those who want to participate...I can make a new thread if everyone would rather): How did you do last week as far as reaching your goal? What is your goal this week and what are you doing to stay on track? I've not been concentrating on any goals, but starting Monday next week I plan to reach my daily goal of 10,000 steps 6 out of 7 days a week.
woodenshoes, great job with the challenges! hopefully the quite weekend at home helped you feel better after AF threw you for a loop.
kam3100, sorry to hear about your grandmother. T&P to you and your family. I watched Dr. Quinn growing up too. I've seen some reruns are on, but haven't watched any yet.
I'm confused as to why my computer replies aren't working. So here it goes again....
How's everyone doing? Physically? Emotionally? Doing okay. Done with first AF and it wasn't bad physically although my emotions were a little on edge.
How was your weekend? Snowy with 35+ inches. Luckily DH was an all-star and did all the shoveling/plowing. we played outside some and were busy inside playing, baking and I even got the girls to "help" cleaning yesterday. It was also nice to have an extra day yesterday. DD1 told me today that she wished the plow didn't come to our street so we could all stay home another day.
Anything new to share? nope
What was your best moment with your LO(s) this week? It was fun seeing the girls excited for the snow, but the best was us all snuggling on the couch and DD2 falling asleep on me. I try to cherish the cuddles because most days they don't stop moving long enough. I'm definitely going to be that mom that is trying to hug her teenager goodbye and totally embarrasses them!
GTKY: I know we're Moms, so "me" time is at a premium, but what is something you love doing when you do get some "me" time? I've been using my time for the gym. I'd like to read more and need to commit to that instead of mindlessly flipping through tv. I do try to make time to watch my Thursday night shows (greys, scandal, how to get way with murder). Sometimes they are terrible, but it's nice to zone out on the couch once a week.
Accountability Question: only made 3/5 workouts and was snowed in with too many snacks and carbs. plus I made bread to go with beef stew. Luckily DH ate 7/8 of the soft pretzels and DD1 ate the other one.

woodenshoes, sorry about the surprise AF...that stinks! kam3100, I am sorry for the loss of your Grandmother. I am sure that is super hard. chknma, I am super jealous...I wish we got even 1/2 that amount of snow opheliainwaders, glad to hear it went well. hope your physical recovery goes quick.
