Anyone have a Tula insert they aren't using that I can either borrow or buy? The Moby isn't super comfortable for me. I'd like to use my Tula but wanted to check with you guys before I spend $40.

There are a lot of feels about the rolled up blanket thing. It does nothing to support the baby in the top half of the carrier or to help with head control.
They don't recommend that at all but if you're going to do it, only once your child has full head control and is at or exceeding the infant insert weight.
I didn't realize that. P does well it in that way but she has decent head control but is only 13lbs.

Didn't Leapinglizards post a website that was selling $99 tulas on Fb? I remember scrolling through there and seeing that they had the infant inserts for around $20.

They were all sold out
Booo. My local swap has some creep up every once in a while. Wish you lived closer.
I do! I gotta find it though. I have Quinn in a Newborn Quinn and then a OS pocket at 1 year.
Weve offically decided to give up CDIng. Life is too crazy at the moment. I have guilt about it, but I think its hte right decision. If anyone is looking for any specific CDs let me know. Im going to sell them all.
I don't have a diaper comparison, but I got a new batch of hand me downs this weekend - our friends that give them to us have 2 girls, and we got some of my favorite outfits a second time! When those outfits happen, I'll post!

Lola I totally respect your decision to stop. I can imagine that life is crazy enough.
If you have any pail liners, I'd be happy to buy them from you.
Also if you need help selling, I'd be happy to post on my local board for you if you and see if there is interest. If there is, we could always make the transaction at SP next month.

So before DS was born I was all about CDing. And then he was born and I hate laundry and it didn't happen. Now that we've been struggling through the potty training with him (and thus doing plenty of extra laundry because of accidents) I'm considering going to CDing for DD. 22 months in am I out of my mind? (Also, there's a very real possibility we'll be trying for a 3rd at some point).

Lola I'm definitely interested. Just let me know how much you want for them.
jnnfrrose6, not crazy at all. I don't feel like I do a ton of extra laundry because I can easily throw in some regular clothes on top of my main diaper wash cycle.
Uh @isolemlyswear I literally just sold my infant insert!
How's ring slinging going?
Booo!! it's going great!! Little man loves it and falls asleep pretty much instantly. I'm concerned as the weather gets warmer that the cotton/linen material will be very hot. Mines a wrap conversion so the material is very thick. I think I'd like to get another in a cooler material. Oh and I'd love one for swimming too.

From Alabama with Love (on etsy) has mesh ring slings specifically for water. I was thinking of ordering from them but I was going to ask around first of they are any good.

The silk ones on Vienna Springs or Sakura Bloom are surprisingly cool and lightweight. There are a ton of colors and the VS are cheaper (130 compared to 180) you should check out the BSTs on FB just to get an idea of what you'd like.

As long as it's not homemade I would be ok with buying it. Rings for the RS need to be weight tested, not from the hardware store or craft store. They usually don't have a weld spot as that can lead to a weak spot.
