We have a wedding to go to in July. I got really excited about coordinating my sling to my dress haha it's cocktail attire so the purchase of silk will definitely be in order and it's an outdoor wedding and reception
Ordered my Tula Coast carrier (the mesh one) yesterday - can't wait to get it here. If I love it, I may have to commission a fun hood from @iheartmyshiba (all gray is boring!)
I don't understand the need for the reach straps though. Do you guys actually use them?

I think it's for more when you wear them on your back. I could see how they'd be useful then.

Makes sense. It's always a struggle to get the ergo on as a backpack!
ETA: I'm supposed to run tonight, so not sure if I'll really get to use it, but I'm for sure taking it with me to the county fair when we go tomorrow night!
They said they are still going to operate independently. I don't know if I believe it. I didn't realize they had that much money. I was waiting for orbit to go under because they just replaced thousands of seats free of charge.

I'm not an Ergo hater by any means but I just don't think Tula made a great move. Tula fans are die hard and I don't see them supporting the move. I could be wrong though.

I'm so sad to say this. It's not love with the Toddler Tula. I have a hard time getting him in it, the back panel tends to bunch up. I'm used to the Boba Air with just a thin layer of fabric that this just seems like SO much. I put L in it and he swims, he is such a peanut.
mamanorris what technique are you using to get him up? With M I start on my front or hip and "scoot" her around to my back. Then tighten the waist belt all the way, hold the straps out from me a bit and bounce up and down, then straps on and buckle the chest strap.
I usually have him ride piggyback and go from there, I did do the scoot around and it worked better. It's just not love all around, and I can't even say that out loud. I'm sad, I'm going to try to keep at it and fall in love.
These are all coming to live with me this week. I'm excited to try my first WC. I hope I like Lenny Lamb! I think I'm going to chop just enough off the RS to make accessories and then hem it to use as a shorty.
