bocaburger and remylove1011 my RE wanted me to stop at 7 weeks, my gyn was like "oh no no no. Gradually drop it down, but we're not stopping until 13 weeks." She's like me though, a little neurotic so I didn't argue. I'm just tired of my ass being sore!
bocaburger WOW. That is just crazy odds right there. At least it's less risky if they have their own placentas. How long did you and your H try "naturally" before IVF? What are the chances that it finally happens during this one cycle. Soo crazy

38 months TTC total, including 4 clomid TI cycles, 1 iui, and 2 IVF cycles. Seriously what are the odds.

My day did not follow the plan. I got a call as I was leaving to take the kids to school that I did not pass my 3-hour gestational diabetes test, so spent most of the day at a medical office learning how to manage that. (Of course before I went, because I am a glutton for punishment, I googled gestational diabetes and thought, "certainly the NIH will have well-reasoned information." False. They make sure to include all worst possible scenarios, no matter how unlikely.) Anyway, it all sounds very manageable and not as terrible as I was imagining. She says on Day 1.

Sorry for the news. It's tough but at least it's manageable.

I'm sorry, I'm sure those weren't the results you were hoping for... but I do think it's manageable. Why were you tested so early?
bocaburger. Great appointment! And FWIW, I check my phone just before I get going in the morning and when there's no new randoms thread I always think Where is boca? I need new stuff to read!!
So lately I am having the shaky "I need to eat feeling" but I'm eating all the time so I know that can't be it. So my solution is I just eat more...?
Ugh I both love and hate that my kitchen counters don't show crumbs. I finished making myself lunch for tomorrow and I feel satisfied to see no crumbs. Then I crouch down to eye level and bam, tons of crumbs appear for me to clean up.

That is so crazy! It would almost be more believable that your RE accidently transferred two! But at this point, all that matters is healthy, growing Bocatwins!!!

I had several risk factors (mom, sister have diabetes, AMA, overweight, and my son was 9 lb, 8 oz at birth). I think she wanted to be proactive. Seems smart.

Yay bocaburger !! You are handling the SCH way better than me haha which baby had the SCH? And I'm jealous you are off metformin I'm stuck on it till next week at least
bocaburger, thats crazy eh! Its nice they have their own placentas, from what I know sharing one can cause different complications. Are they in their own sac too? We were also baffled to find out ours could also be identical, being completely separate I thought that ment fraternal, but not the case. So we have to wait and see at sex determining time and then maybe not til birth too. Crazy, science is crazy!

kaitkat They didn't even tell me which baby has the SCH, but it's very small and I haven't had any spotting so she really wasn't worried. I'm sure I'd be less calm if there was bleeding! But remember most SCHs resolve on their own with no problems.

Very true I haven't had any bleeding either so fx for both that they just resolve on their own
