Daikoku it might! About three months PP I swear I was going to go bald from all the hair loss. fem and unringthebell we can be exhausted together. My LO is teething and he enjoys waking at at 5 am on top of at least one nighttime wakeup
I have stretch marks everywhere thanks for DS. Stomach and hips are covered in them. Butt and thighs have them too but not as bad as up top. I only got 3 new ones with DD that I've noticed so far.
fem We also nursed all night, as we do most nights. I've been trying to scoot away when I know she's asleep, but her mom's-not-there sensor wakes her up. Ps I hope your mind is just playing tricks on you with the spotting too. Cognitively, I know that lotioning doesn't prevent stretch marks. But it makes me FEEL better about "doing something." And I like the smell of coconut oil. pismoduo Sorry about your overbearing MIL...
I'm impressed that we're already on page 2 and it's just past 9:30am Eastern.
I'm also still curious what happened with my mandrake costume picture in yesterday's randoms thread. I didn't use any picture upload site - it was a direct link from the picture. Guess it must be something weird with that specific website.
This might have been answered, but some websites prevent people from linking directly to their image. They use code to change the image to one of their choosing that will deter hotlinking. My guess is that's what they did.
That could explain it. It was some costume-world picture and the wrong picture that showed up was also from the same site, it was just the VERY wrong picture.
unringthebell I hope you can get something to help your lo quickly.
pismoduo Ugh how frustrating. Hopefully you can get the message across that you need some time.
Probably not. We were engaged for almost a year and a half before we got married and it was like this the whoooooole time, even though we didn't start planning the wedding until like 10 months out from our chosen date.
It's fine. I'll just block her if she starts getting too annoying.
I used Mamma Mio tummy rub oil diligently during my pregnancy with my daughter and I thought I was in the clear of stretch marks. Until they all appeared after I delivered her and my stomach shrunk down. Ugh!

pismoduo - Somehow I missed the post about your MIL earlier. I get that she's excited but damn she needs to take a chill pill. I'd say I hope she gets better, but doesn't sound like that's too likely since she did this for your wedding too.

Good luck!
It's a whole thing. She and H are rebuilding their relationship (for the second time in his life) and so I'm trying to give her a chance, but she wasn't a very nice person to me prior to this, and I'm having a hard time letting that go.

I don't blame you. I've had major issues with my SIL but she's working on her problems and for my brother's sake I'm nice to her and try not to treat her any differently. It's not always easy, but I try to be nice and the further we get away from the shit that went down the easier it seems to get.
Were it not for my brother, SIL never would have gotten a second chance. Sounds like you're in a similar place, although I feel like dealing with problems like this has to be more difficult dealing with a parent than a sibling.
I think it's nice of you, for YH's sake, to be trying to give her a chance. I hope she only treats you wonderfully, like you deserve, from here on out.

I couldn't give a shit about stretch marks. This mom pooch though, it irritates me. I plan on doing some serious abdominal work after this baby gets here.
Edit: By "work" I meant working out not surgery. Although I don't fault anyone who chooses that route.

A few years of yo-yo weight loss/gain has given me a mom pooch and stretch marks - I figure at least this time I'll get a baby out of the deal.
I'm about to call my OB to make my first appointment. Should I mention to the scheduler we were supposed to avoid this cycle, or just wait to talk to the doctot about it at my appt? I know I am WAY over thinking this...
I didn't get any stretch marks with DD until we hit her due date and then it was like my belly just gave in. She was 10 days overdue. Like others said though, moisturizing will never be bad. That bump gets itchy as it expands.
flyakite, hope you can keep something down soon. H and I keep those Pedialite frozen pops in the freezer ever since the time he had food poisoning. They're perfect for trying to keep your fluids up when you can't eat or drink anything. Maybe think about getting some of those to have around just in case this happens again?
fem - I probably wouldn't bother telling the scheduler, just wait to talk to the dr.
Thanks! I did it, but now I have to wait until Feb. 22nd, ugh. Then I have to convince them to give me a dating ultrasound and not assume I ovulate on day 14 (because I don't).

pismoduo sorry about your mil, that sucks. In laws are hard, our own parents we can tell to back the eff off (most of the time) but usually not so with in laws. Good luck!
My dog had an appt at the groomers today and they're located in our downtown area by the beach. So before his appt I took him and DS for a long walk on the boardwalk to tire him out. It was great, I don't know why I haven't been doing it every week!
Crockpot users: it sounds like such an easy and convenient way to make dinner. I'm just irrationally afraid it would cause a house fire being left on all day. I'm being crazy right?
