So I've been thinking a lot this morning about the fact that I never actually saw any EWCM during my fertile window this time around. I realize I could've missed it. But I'm also wondering if it could be a contributing factor to a BFN. I had what I *thought* was watery CM a few of the days.
At any rate, if AF does end up coming, what can I do next cycle to help my CM. I've read some stuff about cough syrup? Has anyone tried this?
Lurking, but I had to say just because you don't SEE any EWCM doesn't mean you didn't have any. Stay away from unnecessary medication. Water, green tea, Preseed..yes! Unneeded drugs? No.

CD/DPO: 11 days after Mirena removal. I got a +OPK yesterday and some serious O pains today. I think I'll see a temp spike tomorrow, but my chart is crap since I missed a lot of temps.
Timing: If I did O today, then it will be -3, -1, and O (we will get to it today at some point, lol)
Testing Plans: There is little guarantee I won't test early. I know myself. Plus, I've got 50 Wondfos....
RRCS: I'm just glad I've picked up extra shifts at work for this TWW.
GTKY: What is your typical weekday breakfast? What is your ideal weekend splurge breakfast? Weekday breakfast is usually one of those Kimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. Splurge breakfast is homemade Belgian waffles with maple syrup and bacon.

RRCS: I hate that I'm obsessed with FF. I check it constantly like it's going to tell me "yes, this is your month". Gah.
GTKY: What is your typical weekday breakfast? What is your ideal weekend splurge breakfast? Weekday breakfast starts with 2-3 cups of coffee starting around 7am. I eat between 9-10am. It's usually oatmeal or scrambled eggs with turkey. Weekends are French toast, pancakes or omelettes and fruit. Ideal breakfast like requiressnacks is corn beef hash. Love that stuff!

With the Preseed, does it act like EWCM? Like, if I didn't have a lot of EWCM, would the Preseed actually help the swimmers get to where they need to be? Someone educate me.

Pre seed is amazing! You can use it topically, or it comes with these little tubes that you'd fill and sort of place inside for lack of a better explanation. Not only doesn't it hurt the sperm, it can actually help get where they're going. I recommend the insertion method, otherwise I found it to be verrry slippery.

If I didn't have to follow that it'd be eggs with peppers, tomato, and avocado. My splurge would definitely be peanut butter chip pancakes !!!!!
RRCS: My temp stayed weirdly low again today but I still have solid CHs for CD16. I'm going to stop temping now and just see what happens...
GTKY: I usually pick up a latte on the way to work +/- a pastry if I'm hungry. Eggs Benedict is a favorite if we're out for breakfast at the weekend, otherwise it's tea and toast at home. Kind of boring...

My understanding is that Preseed (and other "TTC-friendly" lubes) have a different composition than other lubricants to make them more conducive to sperm survival. So in that way, they are similar to EWCM, the purpose of which is to nourish the sperm and keep them alive in the female reproductive tract.
In terms of getting the swimmers to where they need to be, I think the jury is out on whether Preseed actually does the same or more as EWCM would. But just as an anecdote, when DH and I were TTC #1, we had a fertility workup done after 16 unsuccessful cycles and learned from the SA that his guys were in the "normal to subfertile" range in terms of motility. So the following cycle I bought a sperm-friendly lube (brand was Conceive Plus) thinking it might help them "get there" and that was the cycle where I finally got KU. Probably just a huge coincidence but still, I figure it definitely didn't detract from our chances.
