I haven't seen one of these on here yet, but I know we sporadically checked in over on the dump, so here goes...
I finally have started buckling down now that K is on a schedule but I'm so tired all the time. All I want is to sit in bed and eat all the cookies and binge watch some tv that I've fallen behind on. The motivation has been the hardest part for me, as there's literally no one to push me except for myself. K has also been super moody the last few days so she just screams at me when she's not napping or eating which is super draining. I feel good that I'm finally being productive but I also feel like I can't really get any projects completed because I have to be with K constantly now that she's pulling up and cruising (and therefore falling) and getting into everything. Hope everyone else is doing well!
meritsamomma, I thought the same so I made a schedule for me too. After her morning breakfast we always work out either a walk or YouTube baby and mommy workouts. She goes down for a morning nap and I clean house/chores. She gets up she eats we play until her next nap. She goes for a nap and boom I eat cookies and watch my shows. She gets up snacks and has independent play. Then she usually has cat nap and that's when I start supper. She's in bed by 7 and that's my me time. Supper is done I do dishes, have a glass of wine and listen to a podcast or watch a show on my tablet. I make everyone's lunch for the next day. Then I rejoin DH watch a show we both like, then I'm in bed by 9:30.
And then at least once a week we get out of the house. Either we do errands, shopping, or something fun like the zoo. Mommy gets Starbucks always.
And I totally get the screaming/screeching. I now where earplugs or blast music or put on baby Einstein once a day. Sometimes if I know she's safe I just walk away for a few minutes.
It's not perfect and some times I'm bored or lazy. But it helps both of us. Most of the time.
