I have decided that, tomorrow, I am making homemade caramel swirl brownies. And then while they are still warm I am going to top them with ice cream, whipped cream, and chopped pecans And cherries. This is a thing that will be happening.
Great minds think alike. A thing that is happening right now: homemade peanut butter swirl brownies topped with vanilla ice cream. When I finish this I am having a peanut butter milkshake.
Although, you have seriously stepped it up with the whipped cream and pecans.
I miss peanut butter. It is seriously one of my favorite things, but my children are both dangerously alleric. Luckily we can have sunbutter--it's not the same, but it gets the job done

Poor boys:( sunbutter is a good alternative though! I didn't even know it existed until I saw it on our daycare menu (they're peanut-free).
How did you discover their allergies? We haven't had anything pop up yet but it always scares me.
DH is in town for our anniversary tomorrow!! Yay someone to help me with DD haha seeing them together makes my heart swell they love each other so much! I think my heart is just gonna explode when the twins arrive!!!!

Ugh, a peanut butter sandwich has been one of my go to foods since I found out I was pregnant. MH thinks it's funny because it's not usually my thing but he loves it. Says baby is making me eat like him.
I have a gf who recently found out her son is allergic (18 month old). Lots to worry about!

+1 on the pb love. Pb&j is sometimes the only thing that I can just throw together when I feel blah, and I don't feel bad about it because protein! Right? ...right? Haha
I am excited for everyone, all the development and updates from you all make me smile.
I had a pretty good day. My mom comes by on Fridays for a few hours just to hang out and do whatever. Today I had asked her if she would mind watching DD by herself so I could head downstairs to my SO's game store and get in a game of Warhammer 40k with a friend who is just getting into it. I haven't gotten to play in at least 3 months, it was fun! Plus, DD and grandma have a blast together. :3
DD's 2nd birthday is in a few months and I think dressup is going to be a thing. She keeps putting on our shoes and trying to put extra clothes on herself. I can't help it, I am already see pretty pretty princess dresses and tiaras. I swore I wouldn't be that mom, but... so cute!
ad a moment of pink spotting today. The tiniest bit and nothing since then. I'm think progesterone has irritated my cervix or I overdid it at work today doing my classroom change over because I kind of did overdo it. I keep having to talk myself down that everything is fine.
I am so sorry, I totally understand the Instant panic, i hope it stays away, just maybe try take it a bit easier this weekend. Lots of hugs!

With DS1, I always suspected a dairy allergy. He reacted badly to dairy in my diet while BFing, then had an obvious reaction to yogurt when starting solids. Our pedi shrugged me off, so I took him to a pediatric allergist at age 2. Testing revealed allergies to dairy, eggs and peanuts. He has since outgrown the dairy and egg allergies. DS2 got ahold of a Christmas cookie with peanut butter in it at 11 months. He broke out in hives, his eyes started watering like crazy, and he was coughing and pulling on his tongue. I immediately took him in, where we discovered peanut and tree nut allergies. Sorry that was long-winded. The jist is that i have a lot of experience with allergies of all kinds and food intolerances soooooo if you ever have questions along that line, please don't hesitate to tag me
kaitkat happy anniversary! It makes me happy when you get to see your H
venyia I was thinking of you this past week with our blizzard. Many businesses had to close for a couple of days and i was feeling badly about how hard that must have been for small business owners :/
dc2london, luckily out here, even when the snow gets nuts, most places are able to continue operations. Plows start up as soon as there is even a dusting, they treat the roads with some de-icer stuff early in winter, and business owners have to shovel their public sidewalks. Kinda sucks, that last bit, but it does help. Also, we are a small town, so its a bit easier.
I know the storm back east was super crazy, though, so I do feel huge sympathy for the folks who have to dig out from under that much snow!

I will remember this! I dont know why but always get so nervous when we give DS a new allergenic food for the first time. Happy to have a knowledgeable source nearby:)
