How many weeks? 5+4 EDD? 9/29 Next Appointment? 2/16. Can hardly wait!! Symptoms/how are you feeling? Sore boobs started last night. Otherwise, pretty good! Rants/Raves? None currently. GTKY: Are you finding out what your having? Do you have mommy intuition on what you are having? We are team green again. I thought boy last time, but now that I have the sweetest little girl, I just want another girl SO BAD. No intuition except I got the opposite of what I thought before...

f14mama, I should of not laughed out loud but...I did with your comment about you possibly raising a psychopath. NOT that he hurt you. Actually I just look at huge ass laughing at any of it. I am sure he is just a lil boy who throws things. My lil brother was a terror when we were younger..satan Spawn definitely came to mind a couple of times.
Oh! Interesting. Yes, very much so. I've tried to avoid doing too much straining, but now that I think about it, it does seem like the spotting might correlate with the worst points of constipation.
f14mama, as someone whose spouse works at an early learning program, kids throw stuff at each other and teachers all the time. I'm sure you're not raising a psychopath.

How many weeks? 7+2 EDD? 9/17 Next appt? This Friday! Symptoms/how are you feeling? Feeling like crap after eating, nausea sucks. So tired. Rants/raves: nada GTKY: We'll find out again. I'm feeling girl this time. I called it last time, but we'll see.

Even if you don't think you're straining that much, it could be enough to irritate your cervix just enough to cause the small amounts of spotting. I would assume that's what it is considering it's brown and only those slight amounts when wiping.
WineNChocolate FX that you have amazing betas rufus426 hoping the IF brain eased up for you Thinking of you mrsjene and hoping for the best GL Daikokuf14mama How many weeks? 9w1d EDD? 9/4 Next appt? February 12th Symptoms/how are you feeling? Tired, off and on nausea, and hungry all the time. Rants/raves: just a little anxious for my appointment so I can hear the heartbeat again. GTKY: we will be finding out. I'm feeling girl but I could totally be wrong.
Next Appointment? Friday to go over my health history. Then I have another ultrasound on the 11th. It will be H's first time seeing the baby.
Symptoms/how are you feeling? I've been super emotional today. I'm still a little nauseous on and off and my hips are freaking killing me. I'm really thinking about dropping some dough on a pregnancy pillow.
Rants/Raves? Just the above.
GTKY: Are you finding out what your having? Do you have mommy intuition on what you are having? Yes. Right now I'm feeling boy for some reason but that's subject to change
I bought the snoogle last week. OMG that this is amazing. Please...treat yo self!
WineNChocolate, knowing that you laughed out loud actually makes me feel better! Maybe (probably) I'm being dramatic. However, hours of googling by my Husband and I ensued.
pismoduo, thanks, those are the things my hormonal brain need to hear. He turns 2 in a couple weeks, guess "terrible twos" isn't an urban legend.
Next Appointment? Feb 23rd, ultrasound, meet with OB nurse, and Dr. I'm supposed to get a flu shot too...fun fun
Symptoms/how are you feeling? I've been very lucky and not had too bad of morning sickness. If I don't eat right when I'm starting to feel hungry, then that is when I usually start feeling bad. Other than that so tired I don't even known how I get out of the bed some days.
Rants/Raves? We told our families and friends about the twins this weekend. It's crazy how much advice people have when they have never had twins. Also, I can't count how many times I've heard "are the natural?". Our belief is that we were meant to have twins no matter how we conceived them. I know people don't mean any harm but that is an awfully nosey question.
GTKY: Are you finding out what your having? Do you have mommy intuition on what you are having? Yes. We were told we could possibly find out the end of Feb. I will be 12wk and 5 days. I had a dream last night it was B/G twins. What a blessing it would be to have one of each but of course no matter what we are ecstatic.

Oh yea. At that age, they're still not good at explaining how they feel, so they lash out or melt down. Totally normal. I think the terrible twos are so terrible because kids that age are really much more aware of the world around them and much more interactive, but their ability to verbalize and explain and cope is still not there, so they get frustrated easily.
bl1210 - I don't understand W(hy)TF people think it's ok to ask you that!!! That's so rude and none of their business!
Amen to that! People just have no idea what comments to keep to themselves. My mom (of all people) said we should respond with "if you mean by f***ing then yes". I'm not quite bold enough to actually do it but it has almost come out of my mouth a time or two.

Yea, the more I about it the more I'm pretty sure that's what's happening. I may still mention it to my OB at my appointment, just to be sure. But at least for now it makes some sense.
Also, for anyone still dealing with constipation - kiwi fruit. Apparently it has a natural, gentle laxative in it on top of all those great vitamins.

I love that your mom suggested that response! You could always just say sex if it makes you feel more comfortable to say something like that back. I feel like people deserve to be made uncomfortable by the reply when the question should never have been asked.

I figure anything you (general you) are questioning or wondering about is worth a mention to the dr. That's what they're there for.

Oh THAT explains it! I had a whole kiwi the other day...

Yea, I ate a whole kiwi after not pooping for like 3 days. Totally resolved the problem. It was glorious.
f14mama , as a preschool teacher I can tell you that is absolutely normal as well. When it happens tell him "no" and then show him what he can do or say instead. Model it for him. Role-play. That will help him learn better responses. It won't go away immediately. Definitely perfectly normal.
Thank you for the reassurance! We are starting "time out", so after I had processed what had happened, DH was already talking to him. I took a moment to compose myself, then went over and he was crying saying "sorry mama". We talked to him about how you can't throw things because it can hurt people.
Next appt: 2/12, first real appt, already did the confirm u/s and bloodwork. I'm hoping to hear the heartbeat at this next one.
Symptoms: nauseated all day long, now adding a cold DS gave me on top of it and a low grade fever. Blah
Rants/Raves: this is way harder with a toddler! Thank god for my DH he has taken over the past two days so I can get some rest and kick this virus.
GTKY: We will be finding out. I'm thinking maybe girl because I'm feeling worse this pregnancy and I want all the sweet stuff. With DS I wanted all the salty stuff.
We are okay. They did an ultrasound and determined that everything looked great and the bleeding wasn't coming from there. RE said the most likely culprit is the endometrin irritating my cervix and causing it to bleed.

How many weeks? 8+4
EDD? 9/8
Next Appointment? 2/12, then again on 2/16
Symptoms/how are you feeling? I basically feel like the queen of nausea, but I'm actually probably still pretty far back in line for the throne. Duchess of vomiting, at best.
Rants/Raves? I just took what I thought was a quiz on chapter 1 of my accounting book. It was on chapter 2. *facepalm* Good thing the lowest score gets dropped.
GTKY: Are you finding out what your having? Do you have mommy intuition? We're finding out. I don't know, I was really convinced I was having a girl, now I'm kind of feeling boy. Maybe that's wishful thinking, though, because I think it would be fun for my son to have a brother and my experience of having an older brother with a similar age gap was awful, so I have a slight boy preference this time.
Yay, mrsjene!! I'm glad everything looks good! Any word on when you can be released to your OB?
Just to be overly cautious, he wants to do one more ultrasound next week then I'll be released to my obgyn. SHIT! With everything else going on, I forgot to call and make an appointment with my obgyn.

If your office is anything like mine, they may not set up the appointment until the RE sends your records once you're released. I tried to call last week to start getting appointments in and they said I couldn't until the RE released me.
My RE seemed surprised that I hadn't made an appointment yet. I'll find out when I call tomorrow.
