What is something adorable your SO does?

Let's talk about all the cute/funny/adorable things your SO does that make you happy. Is there something weird they do all the time without realizing it? Something funny that they pronounce wrong? Something adorable they say?

Whenever we are flying, DH always crosses his fingers right before take off and right before landing. I don't think he even realizes he is doing it but I think it's so cute.

MH mouths silently along with whatever he's texting. He also makes faces, shakes his head, nods, and goes through a journey of emotions just trying to spell everything right and send it

He also can't send a voice text (via Siri) to save his life. Trying to text someone that we're running late ends up like leaving a voicemail: "Hey Sister, this is H, I uh, am on my way in the car and uh we need to get gas so... DANG IT"

My female cat loves my husband so much it's ridiculous. I almost always walk into our office to find him sitting at his computer with the cat nestled into his arm. It nearly kills me every time.

H sticks his tongue out when he's concentrating. He even does it when he plays softball and he's up to bat.

I thought of another one. He loves our cats so much- he is always talking to them, petting them, and picking them up and holding them like you hold a baby. He will stand there "rocking" the cats and I don't think he realizes how funny it looks. I am much more excited for when he can hopefully do that with an actual baby, though

H is adorable with the cats, it's so cute.

H hums when he is thinking about something it could be very seriously or picking out what he wants for dinner. MIL does it too.

When DH knows I'm tired, he'll stealthily make my lunch for me for the next day so I don't have to and can just go to bed.

Everything DH does with DD makes my heart melt, but especially when he gets so overcome that he tears up when she says she loves him or hugs him. He's a softie deep down.

For the past 6 or so months he has taken up doing the dishes. I didn't even ask him to. Super cute & helpful!

DH loves to do research and make spreadsheets and it's adorable. Weird sometimes, like when he couldn't buy a dashboard sunshade for his car without doing research and reading reviews, but adorable. I never saw it, but apparently when he was picking out a diamond for my engagement ring he spent HOURS at the jeweler. They actually taught him how to use a little device to inspect diamonds, and he looked at over 50, making a spreadsheet with the 4 Cs for each stone and his own thoughts/observations.

Oh, and sometimes he does this hilarious little giggle during commercials where he is trying to hide his giggling. It's so cute.

Our old man of a dog cannot do stairs anymore and watching DH carry him is just about the cutest freaking thing in the world. The pup doesn't really like it so DH talks to him in this really sweet voice the whole time and tries to keep him relaxed. It is especially awesome because he is my family dog we got when I was in high school (he is 15) and when we lived with my dad while saving for our first house DH and the dog became best friends and when we moved out my dad said "You have to take him because if you don't he will be depressed without DH around"

DH sets up the coffee machine before he leaves for work every morning so whenever I wake up I can just turn it on and boom! fresh coffee. It rocks my world every day.

I love MH when he is barely awake too. He is pretty high energy in life so it's cute when he's snuggled up and quiet. He gets so wrapped up in the blankets that with his (slightly bald) head pops out of the top, he looks like a swaddled baby lol.

DH says "bulls" like "bowls" which makes me laugh every time. He also takes forever to write emails because he types and deletes. I joke with him when he's writing an email "type type delete".

MH is such a hugger it's adorable . I'm the perfect height for it, and they fix any problem! He is also the most calm and cheerful person, which can be upsetting when I want a reaction, but is otherwise beyond helpful and sweet!

MH always holds my hand in the car. It's so comforting.

He also has the funniest relationship with the dogs and they are obsessed with him. He loves to roughhouse and play with them...and the he says "want to come up up up" and they climb in between any crevice they can find to snuggle with him on the couch. They used to not be allowed on the couch and he is who ruined that rule but seeing them all snuggled together just melts my heart.

Aw, I guess my picture didn't work, but suffice it to say I got a hilarious picture of half clam/half people which is exactly what popped into my head when I first read this. One of the funnier typos I've seen in a while.

When my SO needs a good comeback line, he takes the noun of whatever I last threw at him and imbues it with innuendo, then waggles his eyebrows. "You have to be nice to me, I just got a root canal!" -> "Root canal? I'll show you a....root....canaaaal" with wiggly eyebrows. Gotta see it to find it amusing. I think it's hilarious every time (unless he's been a dick. But hey).

MH is so thoughtful. He is definitely the more organized/responsible of the two of us. The other day I came home and he had a bunch of things he knew I needed to bring to my next destination out and ready for me on the kitchen counter.

So, something on the reg: can't see for shit without glasses, so it's cute when he has to read something without them. He has to hold whatever it is reaaaalllyyy close to his face.

One of the best things he has done: One day, I was making a simple turkey sandwich at home. I had already put mayo on it, and before I put the mustard on, I left the kitchen to do something. When I came back, I found this:

A mustard heart.

MH is the type of person who will drop everything to help a friend, family member, or neighbor. It's one of my favorite things about him. He also gives great hugs; he's nearly a foot taller than me, so his hugs make me feel safe and secure.

My DH always yells out "boobies" when I'm changing and he catches a peak. Even if he is sleeping and hears me getting changed, he will open his eyes enough to catch the show and will sleepily yell out "boobies"and fall back asleep. At first it was annoying but after 8 years, I find it cute and I like that he still gets excited to see my boobs.

He also is very cuddly so if we are sitting across from eachother on the couch long enough, he crawls over to cuddle. If I stop him from cuddling me, he gets very sucky. He is so adorable in many other ways, i am a lucky lady. ♡
