I can't believe my scale. I've never seen a number that high. Ugh.
You're pregnant! This is not a bad thing. Growing baby!! It's weird for me seeing the highest number I've ever seen, too, but it's all about growing these babies!

Yeah, I wonder how many of us AREN'T in this situation (not counting previous pregnancies).

My husband is super skinny and last pregnancy I hit a weight heavier than him at one of my last appointments. I felt soooo big. My goal is to not be heavier than my husband this time but hey it'll prob happen again. What really shocked me about gaining so much weight is how hard it is on the body (joints, out of breath, etc). Motivated me to lose it all.

My husband and I have totally different builds - he's very slender and I'm pretty broad/muscular. When we were first together I weighed a good 20 pounds more than him even though I'm 4 inches shorter than him and we were both healthy weights. He's since gained ~30 pounds because he quit smoking (a worthwhile trade-off if you ask me!) but by the end of this pregnancy I'm definitely guaranteed to weigh more than him again. Anyway, I've always been annoyed by this social "norm" that says that a woman has to be smaller than her husband. It's B.S.

Yeah. I've been heavier than him for most of our relationship. There were a few years where I was super thin but other than that, I just have a bigger build despite being short. Good news is he loves how I look even while pregnant.
I already weighed what a man does when I got pregnant. I lost 8 or 9 pounds the first few weeks and am not back to my starting weight yet. Weight gain is one of things I've been most nervous about. I do not lose weight easily at all.
