So I love the wonder weeks app (haven't read book) because it's been pretty accurate on our leap dates. Right now, DS is almost 5 months and has "3 days" left in 4th leap which has also been during the "sleep regression" phase. He is doing better STTN so no complaints there (one long stretch, then again in a.m.) It's the naps! He WILL nap, but only if held. I have tried putting in crib at various points of nap and boom. EYES WIDE OPEN! He does not do this at bedtime.he will go in drowsy but awake and go to sleep. (I'm dumbfounded, but not complaining) So here are my questions: Did your LO struggle with naps at this time too? Do you think it has anything to do with leap at all? Does this get better? TIA
I feel like I'm stalking you queenbabee. We are in like 3 groups together. Haha
I have no advice because I'm in the same boat as you. I gave up and started putting her next to me on the couch when she falls asleep because she hasn't learned to roll over yet. But as soon as she does I have to figure out how to get her in the crib too. The couple of times she has slept in the crib though is when I closed the shades to make it darker but it stopped working.
Also I just bought the wonder week app in the middle of her 4th leap and I feel like I have too much riding on the 1 week I have left, praying it's true!
alioop1028 if it makes you feel any better, my first reaction when seeing the notification you responded to my thread was: oh good. I trust her opinion lol! It does help when he have multiple boards we share
So our recliner is same as your couch I guess. It's in his nursery, right next to crib, but it ain't happening right now. It's a new thing too! He used to sleep fine for naps there, but not this past month. Oh well.
And I definitely feel you on what is "riding" on the next 2 days....it can't be possible is all I'm saying haha.
Aww thanks queenbabee! And I guess our babies are just going to do what they want. Lol Here's to hoping it will get better. Let me know when your DS finishes the leap and how his naps go after.

I'll keep you posted....probably from our recliner
@giamia923 thanks for responding. It makes me feel better that I'm not the only one holding my baby through naptime lol. And yes!! He will sleep 90 minutes on me.I don't get it and he's exhausted if I only do crib naps so it's lose, lose.
I'll keep you posted if it gets better or I figure out some magical tricks. Don't hold your breath though
In our case, the WW app is a fucking joke. Its never accurate. In regards to naps, only DH can get LO to sleep in her swing on she stays home from work. When LO goes to work with me, I maybe get 2 20 min naps and consider myself lucky.
I feel this way about WW too! Today starts (apparently) my 21 days of sunshine...fingers crossed.

According to the WW ap, we are 18 days from change and LO should be 'sunny'. Nope, she might be going through the change early, but that seems a way to early.
We had good days and bad days in leap periods. Hard to tell.

Noooooooooooooooooo! My app says I have 7 more days of hell. I am so scared that it's not true.
