I think maybe I'm a bit cold hearted but I have NOOOO problem saying no thanks to the kid who comes to my door trying to sell booster bars or whatever else. I also have no problem walking right by that girlscout booth in front of Kroger. I mean, I'll say no thank you if they ask if I want something but yea, no guilt.
If it's someone's kid that I know and they ask me themselves I might buy a box or two, but again, no problem saying no if I don't want something. Don't care how cute they are.
I was even a girl scout. I went to the Olympics in '96 on cookie money. So I get that I should support them by buying the cookies but I still just don't unless I'm in the mood for them.
Sometimes I forget that I have a baby. It's just moments here and there but it freaks me out. Like I'm going to be that person who leaves their kid in the car because they forgot about them. It was worse when he was tiny and quiet.
I joined a gym this week. I'll workout, but I mostly did it so that I can take more than 2 showers a week. So basically I'm paying $20/month in order to shower.
Renarene , What a great year to go. Did you get to see womens gymnastics?
No unfortunately we didn't get to see anything like that. Because it was in Georgia we spent part of our time in Atlanta and part of it in Savannah. Savannah is the birth place of the girl scouts so we toured the home of Juliet Gordon Lowe (the founder of GS). It was actually in Savannah that we met the whole Mens German Rowing team at a bar/restaurant. We were in 8th grade so of course boy crazy. Really the most we got to do with the actual Olympics was go to Centennial Park.
I spent HOURS AND HOURS selling shit to raise that money.

We've lived in our house for almost 2 years and we have never vacuumed the (carpeted) stair steps. We built our house brand new if that somehow makes it less gross. Haha.

Vacuum those stairs girl!
So much work. Ugh. I've vacuumed the little platform/landing thing before. That counts for something right?

Dude. You need to vacuum those steps. Our carpet was brand new on our stairs when we moved in and they were gross after a month...
ETA it is so much work. I have a honkin vacuum and am always sweating by the last stair.
A very good friend of mine lost her job in November. She is in the same industry I'm in. We have a new opening here for a Designer position, but I'm not telling her about it. The reason being is I would be her boss and she has always had a competitive side to her which could affect my job, and she is very arrogant and egotistical at jobs which would make me look bad if hired.
The Christmas tree is STILL up! I've been sick, that's my excuse! But it will be down this weekend...
My decorations have been down since mid January but the tree only left this week. To be fair, my DH was out of town, then we had a blizzard, and then I had my gallbladder out...so I can understand how things just like up.

Girl.....
I know, it's embarrassing! I haven't opened my blinds for weeks because I don't want my neighbors to know. I got up this morning and DH had not only opened the blinds, but he completely raised them! I guess it's a hint...

So mine is still up too. To be honest I think it's a mental thing at this point with me. The end of the holidays signal the end of my marriage. Sorry to get heavy in here.
Anways you can see my tree from the street. I literally fist pumped in my car the other day when I saw that a neighbor a few houses down still had their tree up and lit, lol.
But yes I want to get the tree down this weekend and calling a lawyer is on my to do list for next week.
Oh and I had my 9 year old niece tell me last night that it's illegal to have your Christmas tree up in February and why haven't we taken it down. My DD so nicely replied, "because we're lazy and we don't want too". LOL Pretty much!

That's awesome, go DD! We have a neighbor that not only lights up their tree at night, but the lights on their house too! DH thinks they're on a timer.

UO but I wish it was normal to have lights outside all year round. Not the big Santa's or whatever, but just strings of light.
In fact, the only P in V sex I've had is with men I've married (so, two).
I love you and I don't have a problem with you sharing this wherever you want. FWIW, this is not a confession to me. Sleep with all the girls you want!

Team pee in the shower over here. No shame.
Related... I have peed in a public pool. But only because when I was on swim team in high school, my coach was super hard core and I had to pee and he wouldn't let me go to the bathroom until I finished the set. He thought I was trying to get out of the set. I couldn't hold it in so I just went. That was like 12 years ago.
