My parents are coming for a visit this weekend! We haven't seen them since they left for FL in December, so it has been awhile for us (we usually see them once a month). They're only visiting for a few days but I'm looking forward to seeing them, and Riley is losing her mind with excitement!

For me I'm looking forward to spring. March always seems to be a good turning point in the weather (even though there are plenty of cold days in March) so I'm looking forward to the end of February.
Well, I think my LLR order is coming today so looking forward to seeing what the hype is all about.
My sister is visiting at the end of the month. :-)
My H applied to 2 teaching positions--one in CO and one in NY. I'm looking forward to finding out what will come of his applications. We're kind of in a weird limbo right now thinking that we could be moving over the summer. Or if he doesn't get one of the jobs, will start to form more permanent roots in VA.
Next week, Dh and SS are going to Alaska for 5 days. I'm taking off Thur and Friday to spend with E & A since it's a school break. The weather looks like it's going to be nice so we'll do some fun things we don't normally do. I think it'll be a nice break from all the chaos SS has been causing lately.

mightybee I have 1 coming from that pop-up and I'm waiting on another too!
At this moment, I'm waiting for my H to take his drug test for his new job and then we are heading to universal studios before he has to fill out some paperwork. His uncle works there too, so he will just get us in for free!
Also, can't wait until he starts his job. Having 1 income is hard.
I am looking forward to going snow tubing with friends (sans kids) not this weekend but next. This winter I have been horribly bad about keeping up with people.
mightybee pick CO! Then we could be friends! It is beautiful out here.
I'm looking forward to not working for a while. I'm not sure I realized how worn out I was with teaching and being a mom and not having a husband around. It was exhausting. I'm already starting to not feel so run down. It's nice to have help again. I'm also looking forward to skiing. My family is coming up Ina few weeks to ski! My first time since being pregnant with Patrick and my first time after my broken ankle. We will see how it goes. ?
I'm looking forward to taking a few days off in March when my H has his spring break. We just have a few day trips planned with the kids. I'm also looking forward to getting out to AZ for a long weekend in either late April or early May. I wanted to go when xanthepants will be out there but of course my H's school schedule didn't allow for it

Looking forward to my relationship getting better. Soooo looking forward to moving someday and making a new place OUR home and just putting my stamp on it and loving it. I'm looking forward to Coco starting soccer practices with her little best friend from school. I loved soccer as a kid and played and I hope she does too.
Super looking for to a WHOLE week in AZ with my mom in a few weeks. And then to Disney this fall. H is all weirded out that we have to plan this much, thinks its dumb and then made some comment that he wanted to be more involved in planning. WHAH? okey dokey. Then start planning buddy. You get lunches.

My H will talk about how excited he is when I plan something that he doesn't have to be the planner and then complains about said plans. WTF, dude? I always ask his opinion so don't bitch about it later.

Ha i love all the Disney planning!! I think it's so much fun to read about all the options & pick meals. Plus it'll be so nice to have all the reservations so we don't have to wait a long time for meals.
I am looking forward to hopefully buying a house in the next few months, or at least by the end of the year. I would really like to bring the baby home to our house instead of to the condo we are renting right now. If we know we're going to buy in the next few months, it wouldn't make sense to move, but it is so small. And Tyler has made it perfectly clear he wants that baby nowhere near his room. Joy.
I am also excited about the baby! I am really nervous about maternity leave and how we can financially handle everything (house, baby, 2 in daycare, etc) but the squish! I can't wait to see Tyler love him and to have him here. For so long I wanted another and it wasn't the right time with everything going on. I always felt like someone was missing and I can't wait for him to get here and be a part of our family.
I'm looking forward to starting my new job next week and heading down for the day to NYC on day 2 of the job.
I'm excited to plan some exciting little trips with the kids this spring and summer. Now that Andrew is getting bigger, I know he'll actually enjoy some of the stuff.
My marathon next month! Abby starting preschool in the fall - more for her than me. I know she is going to love it. It will be bittersweet for me (my baby growing up) and then I have to entertain Jack by myself. They play so well together!
I'm looking forward to nicer weather soon. We totally go yo the park when its over 45*.
I think this summer we are going to silver dollar city/Branson for vacation. And possibly camping with a 4 yo and 2 yo. What the hell am I thinking.
Also looking forward to greys anatomy coming back on tonight!
Yeah you are crazy! I wouldn't go camping without kids. I figure I got an education so I didn't have to sleep outside. I wish I liked camping but alas I do not. Have fun though. I'm from KC so very close to ozarks. It's beautiful.

I would be OK with camping with the kids for a night maybe 2. It's just a lot of crap to pack, and I like showers and toilets. No rough camping for me.

Guys I went camping with a 4 month old Cosette and loved it. HA! We take Cosette every year, sometimes a couple times. It is so easy!!! You don't have to bring a ton of stuff, they love playing with sticks and rocks and tadpoles! We geocache! We hike! We Bike with our trailer! It is the absolute best. You teach them about the stars and bugs and moss and they are worn out at night. You make smores and hotdogs on a stick. Come on! What is not to love. We don't portage in and usually get a drive up or cart in site, but we tent camp and have a blast. Truly, you all need to re-think it. Find a site that has showers and a restroom and get a site next to it, NBD.

We went last year when Andrew was about 8 months old. We had a blast and Kayleigh still talks about it. Actually, she now sometimes insists she "camp" on her floor of her room at night. We went with another couple who's son was 2, so the kids entertained each other. We're planning on going at least once this year as well.
We camped when D was 10 months and it was horrible. He wasn't walking yet, so all he wanted to do was crawl on the dirt, he slept horribly, and it was sticky humid hot. That was also the time I somehow managed to put a tampon in before removing the old one.
I'm definitely up for a do-over. I think D would love it at this age!

We camped for Tumaini's second birthday and it was amazing. We didn't go last year for some reason. We'll go this summer for sure!
I'm looking forward to visiting my parents in Florida in a month. I miss them, my kids miss them even more, and I'm looking forward to having someone else take care of my kids while I read and drink all the wine.
