What are you looking forward to right now?

mightybee, ok legit that does sound sucky. My kid never slept so it wasn't any different. We don't hold her to bedtime and let her stay up until she passes out, and usually we can get a nap out of her too. I think they are getting to a great age now. If you want to test it, try it in the back yard some night. We plan on doing it again.

Our backyard "camping" trial was an epic fail... but we tried to stick with a standard bedtime and H was going to sleep with her in the backyard.... She wanted to come inside after 30 minutes... and since it was early H was not digging it.

So she ended up coming inside.

I think real camping would be much better and would work a lot more after a full day of adventures and exploring... and like xanthe said - letting her stay up until she passes out.... We do want to go camping, so maybe we'll actually give that a try this summer... we'll see how E's feeding issues go. The pump requires power after awhile to recharge the battery, haha.

We've gone camping multiple times with M. I think the first time he was almost 2. He loves it because he can just explore the outdoors all day.

We just got a small trailer last summer and only been able to use it once, we are actually taking it out for 1 night next week before my H goes back to work.

We also just let him stay up until he asks to go to bed. Usually isn't too late since he doesn't get a nap in with all the excitement and things to do during the day.

I realized I never put what I'm looking forward to....

I'm honestly trying to think of something exciting, and it's hard. I'm definitely looking forward to my friends wedding in VA at the end of April. I think I'll be going alone now since traveling with a family is expensive. I want to make my stay a bit longer so I can see more people while I'm there. Maybe even work out of the office there so I can see my old work peeps and see their new office too. I want to have a girls night and see some of my other mom friends out in VA. Seriously I'm excited that I might be going alone and it will be 4-5 days of bliss sleeping alone with no one to wake me up. Only my schedule - aside from the wedding - and able to do whatever i want!

Just typing it out s making me want to plan it all right this second!!!!

trixi282, Bunker hills (right by me) has camping sites. There is horse back riding (pony rides), bunker water park and some relatively nice hiking trails if you wanted to test out camping in the twin cites but be close to home for Emme. It's just in Andover so not too far. Or there are plenty of places south as well too that have a similar set up.

I am looking forward to the summer. We are going to take a trip to the beach to visit my BFF. She just had her first baby and he is only 2 weeks older than F. It is going to be so much fun watching the two of them grow.

I didn't go. DH and SS went and they are visiting DHs younger brother. I am at home with the 2 little ones. I would like to go but not when it's -15.
