glaze, yep H and I wear helmets too. My husband wouldn't, but I make him. I tell him it's a good example for DS. And my aunt is a pretty serious biker and was in a crash years ago where had she not been wearing a helmet, she probably would have died. I don't look that cool without the helmet so adding the helmet isn't hurting my look too much!
Lol, same here. That's crazy about your aunt, glad she was wearing one. I can't get DH to wear a helmet though, drives me bonkers!

Agree with the hike helmets. It became law here when I was a kid, but I think it only applies if you're under 18. So, I turn 19, and now I'm safe to ride without one? I'll definitely be wearing one to set the example for my kids. Same goes with lifejackets. DH doesn't wear one in the boat, but sure as hell DS is wearing one and so am I in case I need to save everyone's asses.

I love the idea of jewelry but most metals break me out so I can't wear much more than platinum or surgical steel.
We were at the store today and DD batted her eyes and ended up with a Valentine's stuffed unicorn almost as big as her from H. DS got a horse one. We are in so much trouble when these girls arrive.
