broadwaymama I'm sorry you're so stressed. Hopefully everything settles down soon and you and DH can make a plan together that works for everyone involved.
Also, solidarity with everyone slogging through work.
This times a million. 4 more months....we can do it! Actually, a little less than 4 months. Of course, I have a ton to do but it all seems very daunting right now and I'm procrastinating on starting a huge project, which is very not me.

DS asked last night if we could plant some veggies in our yard. I have a black thumb, DH has a blacker thumb. But, we are going to give it a shot. I'm thinking strawberries and bell peppers since I know DS will eat those if anything does grow. I'm also thinking a vertical planter/tower type of thing. The things you do for a preschooler who wants to learn.....
I actually went to the grocery store alone yesterday and bought all of the food! This was my afternoon snack (which apparently became lunch part 2, because no self control). I can't seem to get enough fruit and veggies these days! Yummmmmm.
Yum looks so good. I've been all about the fruit & salads lately.
I am on nights this week and got maybe 5 hours of sleep today and I don't work till 10 tonight. I have high hopes I can nap before i get DD.
We had our OB appointment yesterday. She was super optimistic. She told me to get my ducks in a row but we will not make any decisions unless I start to bleed or my scan on April 13. I am hoping for the latter. She did remind how serious this condition is and it needs to be taken seriously.
I had the second part of my anatomy scan today. Everything looks perfect! I feel great about that news The tech also confirmed that it's definitely a girl. We got a great 3-D pic of her face because she was facing the "camera" and she looks just like her big sister. Hopefully now we can decide on a name. I've been told so many times how much people like DD's name and how will we ever "top it" that I'm getting worried I'll never be thrilled with our choice.
manybellsdown and ArgyleEnigma I came inside and talked to him. He swears he doesn't have a definite date yet but wants to get ducks in a row in case of the worst case scenario which would be March 1st. I believe him. He admitted to his fall back plan of being his dad's and that he has been quiet about it because he knows it's going to be very hard on me and doesn't want me to dwell and make it terrible before we even get there. Which is totally what I would do (and what I am doing). I know I'm extra sensitive because of the hormones right now so I think I get inside my own head. I naturally have really bad anxiety issues so I always think the worst...especially right now.
I get you. Glad you have some more info to work with! I hope if you do have to stay at his dad's, it's short-lived and just an unfun stepping stone to an awesome new house. Wishing for the best.

Thank you! I need to take a breath and stop jumping automatically to the world being against me!! Just hard to look on the bright side sometimes. You know?!
bighair12 I think I missed what serious condition that you have going on. Can you fill me in!
They think I have placenta accreta. But there is nothing that can be done till we are farther along. It just makes my c section problematic and hysterectomy. It makes me for a stressful time.

I don't know if you'll eat it, but if you do, zucchini is pretty easy and can survive in unideal gardens.

Dreaming fresh fruit has been my number one crave! Especially raspberries!!! I will get the "club size" package and eat the whole thing myself in one sitting!!

Unless you have an asshole groundhog living under your shed.
Just got back from the OB's. Of course my doc is out of town so I saw a partner. Everything looks perfect with baby, placenta, cervix etc. I basically got a second anatomy scan. Then I had the pleasure of an internal exam. It appears that a small polyp may be the cause of my bleeding. He removed it. I'm relieved it wasn't anything serious.

Great news shoogars I'm glad they found the source! I had unexplained bleeding with DS and it was really frustrating that they couldn't tell me why or what was causing it.

Yes, I'm worried about our dog, birds, mice, etc who will destroy anything edible, or even non-edible, before DS gets a chance.
We put chicken wire around our little garden. It helps keep our dog, rabbits and larger animals out. We made it somewhat easy to open so if ds wanted to pick his own fruits and veggies he could, but couldn't go tromping through the garden.

shoogars I've been spotting lately to, so far nothing tonight but if it happens again tomorrow I have to call my OB. When I was pregnant with DS we found out that I have uterine fibroids so they think baby is irritating those and then all the stress I'm currently under at work. Same situation as you, no cramping and still feeling lots of movement.
Tomorrow I hit 24 weeks!!!
Is been a crappy work week and I'm super excited for the long weekend and DS doesn't have class Wednesday night so we are planning a family night instead because it's DHs first night off after a long stretch.

This was me when I was pg with DS. I would mix raspberries, sliced strawberries and blueberries and eat the whole thing in one sitting. DS LOVES fruit now!
shoogars, I'm glad that your doc found the potential cause and hope that removing the polyp takes care of the bleeding! I had some spotting due to a small polyp but my doc decided to leave it alone unless it starts to cause any issues. Hoping that this solves the problem and you have an uneventful pregnancy from here on out!
