What upcoming milestone/pregnancy moment are you currently most excited about?
For me, it's telling our older kids about the baby, they're going to be so excited! Our oldest has all but given up on having another sibling, so she will be thrilled. And I always look forward to the first flutters of movement, I love that.
Kicks! I love having the reassurance and reminder that a little one is in there.
I'm really looking forward to the first few days after he/she is born. It was the best (and scariest) time of my life. This time I get to see DD with a sibling!
I can't wait to hear/see a heartbeat. Finding out the sex at the anatomy scan is so exciting and also makes me feel so much more connected to the pregnancy.
Also can't wait to see DD with her little brother or sister.
Is the end an ok answer?? I love being pregnant, but the first 4 months were super tough on me mentally so I'd like to get through that part as quickly as possible.
Edit for clarity- the first 4 months with a new baby, not the first 4 of pregnancy. I guess I'm not a "newborn person" ::shrugs::

cbrandt1 I feel ya girl. The first few months w baby are rough. I feel like that's something people don't warn us about. People always just said, "oh it's so amazing ". It's like, yeah some of it, but it kinda sucks dude.
There's so much that I look forward to in pregnancy, either because it's exciting or really reassuring, and like most others it's particularly true for hearing the heartbeat for the first time and feeling the movement. I'm looking forward to telling my staff at work. That was really fun last time. But I am mostly looking forward to meeting this baby!!

I'm looking forward to feeling the kicks, seeing baby and finding out what I'm having and seeing DS be a big bro. Ooh and hearing that first cry in the delivery room, best sound ever!
Also hopefully finding the heartbeat at home when my doppler arrives tomorrow.
Mine came in today. I couldn't hear the heartbeat but it showed it was detecting something. I'm trying not to freak out. Hope you have better luck than me!
Definitely the NT scan. It will be a huge relief. And having telling work over and done with (dreading the actual telling even though they'll be fine).

It looks like I'm busting out maternity jeans tomorrow. I split my pants picking up DS. I'm too cheap and lazy to go buy new ones when I won't be fitting them soon anyway.
I'm excited to see baby at the NT scan. Also we are going team green so that will be so fun waiting and finally finding out. Oh and baby kicks. L always kicked in one spot. It'll be interesting to see what the kicks feel like this time.

DS cried when we told him I was pregnant with DD (he was 11). It was so sweet. He came over to me wrapped his arms around me and said "we'd almost given up hope". He was an only child up until that point and he wanted a sibling soooooo bad.
I can't wait for my first appointment on Wednesday - I think it will ease my mind a bit. I also can't wait for the end of 1st tri when we will start telling people (especially DD and our families) and hopefully when I will have some more energy and less nausea. We're team green, so I also can't wait to meet this baby and find out if it's a boy or a girl!

Next Friday I have an ultrasound which will hopefully tell us once and for all if this pregnancy is viable, so I'm looking forward to that, either way.
If it is viable, well tbh I have awful pregnancies, and there's not a lot I'm looking forward to. This is going to sound so vain, but the one thing is the big pregnant belly. I'm short and apple shaped, and my whole life I've hated my stomach. But during 3rd trimester with DD was the first time in my life I wasn't ashamed to have my belly sticking out of my clothes. Baby belly > Muffin Top.

Definitely the kicks. I'm craving them right now. It's my favorite part of being pregnant and when I have the baby, I will mourn losing the kicks for a bit.
I'm crazy but I also look forward to labor and delivery. I'm hoping that baby decides to come on his/her own this time so I can experience what it is like to go into labor. I also have my fingers crossed for a shorter labor. I'm excited to see if it will actually happen.
