DS decided 3am was as good a time as any to get up. While we made him stay in his room, he kept knocking on the door and making noise just intermittently enough to interrupt any chance of sleep between cluster feeding DD... I've already emailed the two friends I was supposed to meet up with today to let them know that's not happening. Then, I emailed my mom to see if they can take DS at least for a couple hours so I can grab a nap. Oh, and the photographer that was supposed to do our newborn shoot this coming Saturday cancelled on us. Tuesday can suck it.
Really hoping little man goes to sleep after this feeding. That's been our biggest struggle. He only wakes up once in the motn but it takes me a couple hours to get him back to sleep
He's now down for his first nap in his crib; we'll see how that goes. The mobile for it is freaking magical--it's the first thing to subdue him within 60 seconds of him going completely crazy crying. I'm curious how long that will last. Right now, he's awake but silent in his crib; not bad for 15 days old, I think
I'm just plain simple not ready for today. I need to call the audiologist about DS2. He hasn't made much if any improvement since he got his tubes in September and my mom who does preschool screening and is a nurse isn't impressed. So I'm currently in the bathroom feeding B with the cold water running begging time to stand still.
C decided she wanted to nurse every 2 hours last night. The good news is that all the nursing has helped me get the hang of the one handed feeding.
DS comes home from his grandparents house today and in happy/excited and nervous at the same time. He met LO at the hospital and it went great. I'm just nervous to have a rambunctious toddler back in the house.
Looks like I'm giving up my dual citizenship today. The new TOU on the Dump just go too far.
My nipples hurt. That's all I've got. Time to go back to bed after feeding and pumping. Here's hoping LO sleeps a couple more hours, but my money says she's up again within an hour.
DS2 is a hungry boy. He is now on the boob and I think/hope almost asleep. Sometimes he'll go back to sleep from now until 9-9:30. He also keeps farting in bed. Boys!
My mom is coming today, and she has volunteered to stay home with DS1 while I go shopping with DS2. Yay!
We're having homemade Thai food for lunch. Whenever I get out of bed, this is a coffee with Baileys kind of morning.
My husbands company does snow removal, and we've gotten over 16 inches in the past 48 hours (with more on the way tonight). He's been gone the whole time except for 4 hours, and I'm exhausted with this LO refusing to sleep for more than about an hour in between 2-3 hour feedings. Sometimes she'll stay up for 6-7 hours straight. Obviously DH will sleep when he comes home, so I will continue to be sleep deprived. Have to get DD1 to school as well, they're the only school not cancelled today. Wtf.
Back to work on Sunday. 6 weeks has flown by. Super sad face.
I'm taking Reglan and More Milk Plus and nursing/supplementing because we still have to get her weight up. But no more pumping. It's too demoralizing to pump for 15 min and get 1 ml (10 if I'm super lucky). Blergh.
Also baby girl is being a spitter. Nothing like the boys with their pyloric stenosis but still.

Can we just tie the toddlers up and leave them in bed overnight? DS is doing much better going to sleep, but he's waking up every night at midnight and 4am. We lock him in his room so he can't get hurt, but we still go to put him back to sleep. I feel like we're not going to sleep ever again.

Currently cuddling on the couch with LO and drinking coffee. I made some strong stuff today. DH half set up the coffee pot so I guessed how much water he put in. I definitely overestimated.

Another random: LO is now wearing some 0-3/3 month clothes! Some NBs still fit him and he's still in NB diapers. He's so long and lean. Just need to beef him up more

Our little guy lasted less than a week in newborn clothes . And some of his 3 mo sleepers are getting too short for his legs. Curious to see how much he's grown next week at his 1 month. Always a little sad when they outgrow a size .
Los first doc appointment is today. This will be his first outing so hopefully he can keep it together.
I have been wearing a belly bandit for the past three days. I got it at one of my showers. I don't know if it's mental or if it's actually working but I feel like my pouch is smaller. Do any of you girls use or have used one? Good or bad reviews??
Were in 0-3 month clothes too!! Also a parent today of a toddler that didn't sleep well. But we were joined by lo at 1:30 am so we had a party. So I totally thought DS would sleep in today. Nope up at 6. Lo is still sleeping though.
Had to move B up to size 1 diapers. He's basically drowning but he got so long that he leaked out of the NB and they couldn't contain the poop. It's been 4 days and no leaking yet! We are wearing all the NB outfits one last time before we "retire" them. They fit perfectly except for length
Well it looks like he universe thought I was getting too much sleep with those 4 hour stretches so it fixed that by making my toddler, infant, and myself sick. I am so tired and so sad that my kids are sick, especially Joey. It's heartbreaking hearing your infant struggling to breath and coughing.

I just did this today. I sort of feel like a badass LOL

L was never in newborn clothes or diapers. That's what happens when you have a 9lb 7oz baby Now even some of the 0-3 aren't fitting him b/c he's super long.

In my sleeplessness last night I must have skipped feeding DS from my right side bc I just woke up too a brick on my chest. Holy engorgement! Also the whole biology behind breastfeeding is blowing my mind right now. I think it's crazy how your body knows to let down your milk. We had company yesterday and of course they held DS the entire time they were here. Well when they left he got passed to me and I immediately felt my milk let down, just because he was in my arms. It's all just so crazy to me.

I just realized the dictator is one month old today! He's had a short but powerful reign and anticipates a long continuance of his despotism. The peasants fear his wrath and skewed sense of justice, but he is admired by many for being just so darn cute.
