Anyone get anything good from Target lately? We had a snowstorm yesterday and I had cabin fever so we all went to just wander the aisles of Target...... the wandering cost me $115 haha
I got 4 packs of flour sack towels to amp up my cloth diapers, new Tupperware to refresh our stash (we just use Ziploc brand and purge every few months), makeup, cleaning stuff, baby purée, and toiletries. A pretty boring list but whatever, it helped kill some time lol
Im considering going because we are house crazy from the snow. I definitely need new make up. I could also use a winter coat.. Yeah I'm a little late on that.

My husband & I went the other day to kill time before our movie. I got DD a book and some baby cookies, my husband got a clearances electric shaver, and I got a few small things. Our killing time cost a lot more than anticipated haha
I need to go get oatmeal and applesauce for LO, valentines cards, band aids, and a bunch of other stuff that I really don't need. I actually haven't been in over a week and that's a long time for me! Lol

I'm thinking of going to look for some birthday party supplies. There is a lot of diy I want to do. I should really look at a thrift shop first but target..

I went yesterday and managed to only buy the two items I went to the store for. Formula and dog food. I've been waiting for the baby section to be re-stocked for weeks.
Me: 27, DH: 26 / TTC since June 2011
HSG 12/2012 - both tubes blocked; hydrosalpinx x 2
9/2013 - bilateral tubal ligation
6/2013 - IVF #1. Follistim, Ganirelix, and Menopur. 15R/8M/7F; 1 transferred on 6/28/13; 4 frozen.
7/3/2013 - BFP on HPT! Beta #1: 106; Beta #2: 764
7/16/2013 - first ultraound; 2 sacs
7/23/2013 - heard heartbeat for first time (on my birthday); one sac.
EDD: 3/24/14; DD born 2/25/2014
I need to stay out of target. But refreshing our tupperware stash (donating everything & starting over) sounds so lovely. Damn.
It is oh so lovely. Felt good to purge Fresh shiny plastic haha
I bet!! And I feel like I could pair down because we have way too much. Maybe that's just what I should do to start, get rid of any of the discolored ones & organize what I have. I bet that would feel better

I always swing by the clearance baby clothes section.... noooooo love for the 12 month size! I was so disappointed.
On another note... I'm pretty sad that we're transitioning into the big boy clothes... I'm going to miss the onsie/crotch snaps. I hate fixing shirts that keep riding up lol

Yes! They have a lot of teeny baby stuff and I always find lots of toddler stuff for dd1, but 12ish months is always slim pickings.

I know! What's with this? Couldn't find anything in DDs size.
Last time I was in target I bought 4 different sippy cups in the hopes that DD will figure one of them out. No luck yet. She still just bites whatever I give her.
I went today and deviated from my list, but not too badly. I got a 3-pack of 12 month onesies. Can't resist cute clothes for LO!
I'm such a sucker for those 3 packs.... I remember telling myself (pre-Robert) that I wouldn't care about clothes and I'd just deal with hand-me-downs and do lots of laundry if we had a small stash. Boy was I wrong! Now, I'm all like... buy ALLLLL the adorable outfits!!

I managed to find onesies for DD up to size 24 months. She still wore regular shirts as well sometimes, but I could not give up my onesies!
I went on Saturday and got new sippy cups, which he refuses use. Also got formula, toothpaste and floss for DD, and food for the house. I looked at the 12 months clothes and the selection was terrible. I've been feeling for months like the baby and toddler clothes there were not very nice looking. I'm not sure what happened - Target has always been a go to store for clothes for my two kiddos. Looks like I'll be sticking to Kohls and Carters.
And this thread has inspired me to want to toss all my Tupperware and start over!
Yep hit up the dollar aisle....this is a teachers best friend! They also have really cute spring cardigans and dresses for LO so I picked her up some of those!
My nearest Target is almost an hour away but I love it (and we use their formula and diapers) so I try to get there every week or two. This past weekend I tried to stick to basics and got paper towels, trash bags, wipes, and eczema cream.
I've been looking at clothes for both boy and girl and the selection there for 12 month hasn't been the best lately. I usually love Target's clothes too.
I don't remember who posted about not finding onesies after 12 mo, but with DS1 we found a lot at Kohls through 24 mo. I hate the shirt riding up too so he lived in those. He also wore a lot of rompers. Prior to kids I thought a lot of the boy rompers were ugly on the rack but they looked adorable on DS1 and I liked them so much better than separate shirt and shorts.

What part of the country do you live in?? We have 3 or 4 targets within 30 minutes I'd die if it was an hour away! haha
I also posted about the onesies. I'll definitely have to check out Kohls, I always neglect that store. Robert is such a sweaty baby though... perhaps I'll save some money in the summer because maybe he'll just be in only diapers most of the time.

I live about an hour from Kansas City in Missouri. The lack of Target is awful, especially since we moved here 2 years ago from a location where I had 2 within 5 miles. Realistically it has probably saved me a lot of money .
